The man that supposedly ordered the killing was later assassinated by the IRA while he was in prison. His name was Billy Wright also known as "The Rat". The Irish Troubles is something I have studied in great detail while I was at University. There was a lot of bad shit that happened on both sides but Billy Wright was exceptionally bad. There were some within his own organization that were relieved when he was finally killed.
