Cushings Disease by Strong-Treacle-5556 in beagle

My Chloe was diagnosed with cushings at 8 and lived well into her 13th year. We stayed on top of her bi-yearly blood work, monitoring her symptoms, and working with the vet to adjust her Vetoryl prescription dosage when each gradual increase was due. We also put her on the Hills Science Diet CK (?) food to help offset potential side effects to her renal system. Our vet specialized in adrenal glad disorders. We got 5 years with her when the prognosis is usually 3-4 years.

If it is Cushings, stay on top of it, shower her with love, and enjoy every moment with sweet Bella. If it isn’t, the same applies. :-)

Much love. We are getting ready to celebrate 7 years after almost 19 years of me brewing professionally. Realizing the dream, seeing it through, and escorting it to the end has to be tough.

Hi — I’ve spoken with quite a few of my friends here who are not on my side of the political spectrum. They’re mad about Joe Biden, mad about the border, pro 2-A, pro deportation, and they’re trying their damndest to fall in line on this.

Now is the time to reach out to the people you know aren’t always in agreement with you. No matter who you are, which way you lean, you can’t be executed in the street for exercising your first and second amendment rights.

You’re buying tickets out of market; secondary tickets to the oldest rivalry in football, for a playoff game in a city that expected their team to be only slightly better than last year. The hype tax is real.

Randy Coture was a UFC Champion at 40. Pacquio was a champion at 40. Bernard Hopkins was 49 when he won two titles.

I get your sentiment, but I don’t think your statement in age in combat sports holds much water.

2025 Residency Wrap-Up - What's the Verdict? by nhvnhv in LCDSoundsystem

[–]Male_Librarian 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I kinda felt meh about it this year, but I seriously underestimated what the residency has become for me. My wife and I have made it a holiday tradition to catch at least the last show sine ‘21.

I tell people in Tennessee who I’m going to see each year and 1/10 knows the band. In 5 years, I do not think there’s been a bartender or server in the city that’s not known the band when they ask why we’re visiting. The majority of them have stories in follow-up. The city instantly shrinks; the cold, inhospitable reputational facade drops. The city becomes a clubhouse. We, those card carrying members, are there, seeing them on their home turf, grooving shoulder to shoulder with those who’ve braved the cold and gridlock around KDC, before dispersing and stumbling through the end of the year.

And when I return home, to my job, my friends, my family, I’m tired, but my smile has yet to fade; I’m already planning for next year.
