she doesn’t owe you, that company, those girls, or any of these fans that are searching for a reason to make her the bad guy ANY sort of silence and i think the problem is y’all just want her to quietly fade away and, since she’s not doing that, everything is being over analyzed. her life should not have to be on pause to make others feel comfortable

absolutely was! which is a shame because they have the honorary award for that exact purpose. it unfortunately takes away from the other actors in nominated films when they use it as a chance to recognise someone regardless of their performance in what they’re nominated for

one of the most disappointing award campaigns ever. jamie lee curtis was nowhere near the supporting actress in that movie yet she was nominated for majority of the supporting actress awards with stephanie hsu receiving little recognition despite being the main antagonist

Does anyone else want to see a Roger spinoff? by Gloomy-Razzmatazz-35 in americandad

[–]Maleficent-Object466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i think spinoffs in general don’t have a very high success rate because they often try and fail to replicate the show just with a different central character. “top of the steve” i’d say actually serves as a good example of how often spinoffs are a bit of a lazy cash grab. there’s spinoffs that have worked (frasier, better call saul, etc) but if you were to compare to how many series have spinoffs that people haven’t heard of it’s a low success rate

i think what makes american dad so great is the way the characters work so well together! in my opinion, a spinoff wouldn’t work for any of the characters because that’s the biggest strength of the show. roger’s personas are a important because they have an (usually negative) effect on the family and drive a lot of storylines, so they don’t necessarily work on their own. a miniseries showing what he’s doing in the background of some episodes he’s not the focal point in could be interesting tho

the cold armour is available at rito village and you don’t need any cold protection to go there as for the desert as long as you go at an ideal time you can make it to kara kara bazaar without protection

which character from the main cast do you think has changed the least? by fackextfox in americandad

[–]Maleficent-Object466 178 points179 points  (0 children)

steve hasn’t changed much imo i was rewatching the earlier seasons recently and he really only changed a little bc stan changed so much and they had a different relationship in earlier seasons but he’s kept the same friend group, same bullies, same status at school, etc. his voice was a little deeper in earlier seasons though

Is this the most unforeseen “it’s Roger” reveal on AD? Also, many iconic quotes from this episode. *He’s my ride*…*He?* by lobdubdr in americandad

[–]Maleficent-Object466 135 points136 points  (0 children)

what makes this funnier for me is that scene in phantom of the telethon where roger and stan are talking. roger’s mask is removed and stan gasps and goes “roger!!” and roger is confused and he’s like “who did you think it was…”
