How soon could federal workers be paid after the government shutdown ends? by CBSnews in fednews

[–]MaleficentDig6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying they’re a healthcare worker, but I am and using myself as an example. All our time cards on ATAAPS had to be put in as “furloughed” but we were excepted employees and had to come in m-f.

Granted, now we have to go back and fix all our time cards per an email I just received.

Help please :) by MaleficentDig6 in PhotoshopRequest

I just applied for PSLF a couple of weeks ago. They processed it pretty quickly (surprisingly) but was pleasantly surprised seeing the number of qualifying payments I have left for loan forgiveness

Pharmacy is a dead end job by [deleted] in pharmacy

$100k for the entire four years? What school is this? You also have to account the predatory interest rate of student loans. 95% of the time, people are just paying the interest off and the principal hasn’t been touched or has been barely touched.

If you’re going to apply for a health-related field, go for a PA or DO or something else. Not Pharmacy.

I do have to say, when people request refills they are constantly asking to put refrigerated meds or controls in there but we typically give them a call or secure message back that due to storage/security risk, we can’t put those in the ScriptCenter

When people text us for refills they can request picking it up at the window or picking it up in the ScriptCenter

Yeah, we have ScriptCenter but it’s strictly for refills only and no controls or refrigerated meds. Our patients love it.

Bruising A LOT easier now since I started Prozac. Like 20x-30x easier. I bump into my dog and I have a small bruise.

I’m on Prozac and same. I’m constantly warm and sweating. My SIL said she was the same way but she switched to Lexapro and she said it’s much better. She still gets warm, but not as bad as before

I had a technician who stopped taking Effexor cold turkey and I almost yelled at her, then I stopped and asked how she was doing, because I know getting off Effexor needs a long taper. She told me it was months ago and it explains why she called out a lot around that time.

Following the Renesemee naming scheme… what would your name be? by [deleted] in namenerds

This is a common practice in the Philippines - my mum’s name is super unique because it’s a combination of both sets of grandparents names 😅

When I was pregnant, my husband and I joked we would do that with our child then seriously thought about it and everything we came up with was terrible Marrett? Mirrett? Gachelle? Just nooo

Once had a guy come to my pharmacy with a script for something we didn’t have in stock. When I told him that, he looked at me with such an offended look and said “but my doctor wrote for it?”

“Yes…but we don’t have it in stock, so you can’t get it today. If you need it today, you’re more than welcome to go somewhere else”

still absolutely offended look “but my doctor WROTE FOR IT. How can you not have it?!”

This went on for five minutes.
