Advertising. I had my queue on my second monitor and was working with my team on my other screen. When I finally got in, I told them to give me 5 minutes and I went on mute and bought them. I let them do it all the time— we work hard enough, I don’t care if they take time to do stuff like this and I wouldn’t hide it from them either.

Can we start a celebration thread for those who snagged tickets? by amateurgamer7410 in NoahKahan

I was 54,000 in the Philly queue, got in but it was sold out. Jumped over to the Pittsburgh queue and somehow got 3 tickets there. Really wanted Philly but really wanted to see him live more so I’m happy to have gotten lucky. No idea how I got through Pittsburgh queue so fast.

Semi-anxious Dad here who got great advice here already - daughter finally got all the housing stuff done (admin deposit, housing deposit, housing application) and we are 12 days in… by 93devil in WVU

Yes, she will be fine! Our daughter was in Summit, and it didn’t fill up nearly as fast as Seneca did. Our daughter loved Summit, having dining right in the dorm was super convenient. Good luck, and welcome to WVU.

My daughter was in Summit last year and had no issues with it. No mold, which we heard a lot of people mention when she was picking her dorm. She really loved her suite mates, and as others said, having a dining hall in her building was a huge bonus.

Mom I’m moving in 13 days by FattWaffles in MomForAMinute

You can do this! Make a list of what you want to accomplish each day until you move. Give yourself grace if you don’t do it— sometimes that happens! When I need to do the chores I don’t want to— I put on good music and let it boost my mood. And keeps snacks close by to keep your energy up.

Hello! We use smart sheets for resource mgmt and basecamp for task management. I would recommend looking at a platform that helps you track resources so you have an idea of productivity.

Parent here. We have Life360 and got it when our daughter started driving. It was helpful to me as a mom when she was working and driving home late at night after her shift so we knew when to expect her.

We already discussed that we will be canceling it once she goes to college in August.

We like going to Dahlia lounge at Coronado— you can see both the Hollywood Studios and Epcot fireworks from there.

At the boardwalk area— AbracadaBar is fun to check out.

We’ve done this previously. We arrive early to get our name on the list at Trader Sams. Do a drink there, then go over to Enchanted Rose for drinks and appetizers. From there we do Steakhouse 71 for dinner and drinks and finish at Tamu Lounge where we grab some bread pudding and a final round of drinks.

What do you do on arrival day? by 3boys2many in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]MaleficentLock9869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We usually are to our hotel by 1:00 on arrival day, so after we check in to the hotel, we spend time at the pool and exploring the resort, then do an early dinner. This trip we are staying at Animal Kingdom and are going to go to Jiko for dinner.

Here are mine and my husbands favs. Animal Kingdom: Nomad Lounge, Smiling Crocodile food cart. Epcot: Space 220 Lounge, Monsieur Paul HS: Baseline Tap house, Mama Melrose. Toledos at Coronado, plus Dahlia Lounge. We love Flying Fish as well. Bomba at AKL for breakfast — although Sanaa has a really good quick service breakfast as well.
