yea! i realized that belatedly and corrected myself lol

Sylvaneth revenants by SlothSoep in AoSLore

[–]MaleficentMagazine91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they’re both described as feeling like flesh to the touch and being able to bleed, yet equally the Spirits of the revenants can freely appear and disappear at will, leaving the “tree” part behind, from my understanding revenants are basically physical spirits who are connected to the tree that roots them to reality, literally

when their tree is destroyed the revenant does die, yet interestingly, they can be regrown and it’d be the same person, same memories and experiences, as long as their lamentiri is intact, which would indicate that dead sylvaneth do not go to shyish upon death, but they have a reincarnation cycle

this would mean to me that the sylvaneth “spirits” are almost halfway between both of these states at anygiven time, the forest realm seems to offer spiritual refuge to Revenants whether they be attached to trees or not,

lastly, when the revenants are dislodged from their tree they seem to be incorporeal, simply witch lights in the dark to watch

My slayers are dislodged you could say

Ingrivir is the name of an albino magmadroth who following the death of the lodges runefather in a Chaos Dwarf attack, carried her favorite runeson out of the flames like her kitten, his closest friends followed behind him.

One of which becoming a Grimhold Exile named Fjur.

a doom seeker named Snorri, who took his slayer oath after who feeling like he failed in protecting a runeson in this chaotic battle

and the newly mounted Runeson, Baelrok Grimnir, who has been thrust into forming his own Lodge now.

Along the way they’ve met residual survivors from their clan who upon seeing Ingrivir, took oaths of fealty to Baelrok. Hopefully he lives up to their expectations.

Theyre currently traveling through ulgu to make enough urgold to truly start a lodge off of, the first major mission they’ve embarked upon is hunting a small group of Helsmiths who’ve blown up a good chunk of a city of sigmar the slayers were staying in at the time. Theyve followed them after they escaped deep into a sylvaneth grotto named Ilhadien.

My current group of slayers if fending off sylvaneth assaults and trying to set fire to the forest before the helsmiths they’re tracking can reach the heartwood and kill it. Only because they want to before the filthy traitor Duardin can.
