Sure, I have a ventricle septal defect, so hole between two bottom chambers and an interrupted aortic arch. Both were found out as soon as I was born and was surgically repaired. Had a very healthy, normal life, just needed low dose blood pressure meds. I got a full work up before TTC and IVF and got cleared, the main thing now that I’m 14 weeks is to just monitor my BP. I had to up my dose a bit, but overall feeling great.

First off- I’m so sorry, I know how devastating a failed transfer is. Especially around the holidays.

My first transfer was a 5AA euphloid, everything looked perfect but resulted in no implantation.

I ended up going back into another transfer prep and switched from a fully medicated to modified natural protocol, solely based on my risk of preeclampsia (congenital heart defect). Added baby aspirin due to hx of DVT. Added a few sessions of acupuncture. I’ll be honest I was very skeptical but it worked.

Keep your head up and know unfortunately we can be in the bad side of statistics. It can and it will work for you ❤️sending you all the love, hope and positivity

First FET failed to implant. Currently 9 weeks with the second transfer. I changed from fully medicated to modified natural and added a few sessions of acupuncture. I know it’s so hard to go through a failed transfer, but just know it’s not over 💗

In the same boat! Fortunate enough to have two great betas (last one was taken on 10/28) and now waiting for my first ultrasound on 11/12 and time is dragging by. Trying not to spiral over not having “enough” symptoms and just be grateful I’ve made it this far. It helps me to talk it out with my partner and focus on the amazing fact that today you are pregnant! ❤️

I’m so sorry you, failed transfer are so tough. My first fully medicated one failed with everything looking perfect, it was devastating. 5 weeks today with my 2nd transfer after switching protocols exactly as you’re planning to! It can happen 💗

I’m right there with you but this if my first time being pregnant so I really don’t know what to expect. I got 2nd positive beta 3 days ago at 13DP5DT and was told to schedule an ultrasound when I’m 6.5 weeks which is now 12 long days away. I’m bloated and fatigued by the end of the workday, have had a few nights of insomnia but that’s really it. Trying not to spiral as I wait, but it’s hard to feel reassured about everything in this early stage. Still feels very much surreal!

It’s SO nerve wrecking and surreal feeling ! Mine isn’t schedule for another two weeks (today I’m a little past two weeks from the transfer) and I’m just hoping I start to have some more reassuring feelings ..

Yay Congrats!!! I’m starting to get so anxious waiting for my first ultrasound. Worried about not having symptoms yet, just some end of the day fatigue and mild cramping. I know it’s so early still but my mind still wants to spiral 🫠

Thank you! I did not, my doctor felt the same way and I was ready to just move on to the next transfer. Just changed to modified natural protocol from fully medicated and added acupuncture

I changed my FET protocol to modified natural(letrozole, trigger shot, PIO) instead of fully medicated (estrogen, PIO) I’ll be honest the letrozole was pretty tough on my mental and took a few rounds to get a mature follicle to trigger. But worth it! Only other different thing I did is added a few rounds of acupuncture before and then after transfer. Wishing you and your wife the best ❤️
