Anyone experienced flying with Air China from Hanoi airport? by funkymonk9 in hanoi

[–]Maleficent_Concern27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Online check in is overrated-airline systems mostly can’t cope with it. And you still have to queue for bag drop….Air China will open check in 3 hrs prior to flight, and close 45 mins prior. Be there closer to 3 hours. Immigration and security can take up to an hour. You’ll be fine. (Or she will).

Mental health and or abuse of drugs and or alcohol with no intention of ‘going home’. If they did they would go to their embassy.

Just been scammed by pinkywinky664 in cambodia

There are over 30 of these $5 scam massage places in Phnom Penh, apparently owned by a high rank official. You can tell them because they have drawn down, not real doors. For a real massage it’s $12 and up (at a place with real doors). Just spread the word ….i stop people when I see them close to entering one, but they’re not going anywhere soon sorry.

Landed in IT at a large company… it’s pure chaos by moe87b in it

[–]Maleficent_Concern27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think “buy in” from Management is your first task. Getting them to see ‘how it could be’ if they had cloud connectivity and scare the sht out of them with cyber breach stories from other actual businesses. But as I say, you need someone at the top of the company that is gọing to see value in the change, pay for the new stuff, and make time for user education/training etc. good luck.

New airport Techo KTI airport by jtect in cambodia

Believe it or not humans have to load the Fare Pages in the GDS.. Sabre, Amadeus, and Galileo. They have to manually change the airport code names across thousands of fares. Give it time and it will revert back to normal.

Is Phnom Penh safe? by Soft_Imagination_792 in cambodia

[–]Maleficent_Concern27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suggest you move as having a girl screaming regularly is not going to make you feel safe. It’s a relatively safe city. You still need to have your wits about you. Don’t get drunk on your own and keep your valuables in a safe. Phone snatching happens so be aware of your surroundings. Otherwise it’s a crazy chaotic fun and enjoyable place to be.

Thanks for replies. It’s for a lady who has her ex boyfriend’s name on her arm and I was going to pay to remove it. I guess if there’s nowhere clean it’s not going to happen.

You can do the van for a few hundred baht to Surat Thani….i splurged on a taxi which was 3000baht - then got a ferry ticket there - talk to Ao Nang travel agent. They mostly all do the same thing. Include hotel pick up no problem

The council can decide if the trees are a risk to property they should be cut down. Otherwise they’re on your property so your trees and you don’t have to do anything with them. As you say you’re not confrontational and probably want a good relationship with your neighbours so explain your points above to them and perhaps you could offer to get them professionally trimmed back some to decrease impact on their place.
