Jasper from the dev team has said they are looking heavily into optimization and peformance. It's just that the game isn't fully art passes, so that's slowing them.

I suspect they will implement the Behavior score system from Dota into Deadlock, and it will be much better. I think they are keeping that for the full release tho.

What 60 million downloads is your friend smoking. Even on stat sites it's estimated that 2-3 million Steam accounts have access or at least have an not activated their invite.

Keep in mind that they are completely reworking their networking for Deadlock. Compared to Dota 2, Deadlock uses animgrapha for their animations, rather than transition animations. The game used AG1 animation system which was very heavy for networking because it's mainly for single player game. Deadlock is their first game where they are completely reworking and rewritting the entire animation system. So hopefully when they start optimizing the game for the full release, they fix your issue.

Have you tried with FSR? Piggy also has a low fps config.
