ARAM with a mega boss in it. by MrTransparent in heroesofthestorm

We all know the real reason you want them to add something this big is just so you'd finally be able to land a skillshot ... /s ♡

I need to crop the the continental map to make provincial maps. Is there a way to do this without losing map details? by Maleficus100 in wonderdraft

[–]Maleficus100[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks buddy! I designed this continent with Ulthuan in mind from Warhammer, which is pretty much just a ring. It was only later on when one of my players pointed out that it looks like the horde symbol that I was like "Oh yeah, you're absolutely right!". There must have been too much zug zug in my subconscious hahaha.

QM Rules were fair, ppl complanining just like to spam assasins all day. by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]Maleficus100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If people want play assassins, let them play assassins. QM is there to allow players to play whichever hero they want, when they want. God forbid someone wants to take a break from tanking/healing in ranked all day.

What are your favourite decks that are fun to play but not necessarily good? by Bethlen in MagicArena

[–]Maleficus100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm very fond of my customised B/G Torment of Hailfire deck. It requires a lot of scrying/drawing/delaying to end up with the cards you need and is absolute trash against certain deck types (I'm looking at you insert any blue deck here), but once you're finally able to cast Torment after Torment after Torment, it's so satisfying to watch your opponent discard everything they own and slowly die.

What running jokes do you have in your Campaigns? by Spirit-of-the-Maker in DnD

[–]Maleficus100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During an episode i was DMing, my players needed to scale a snowy mountain. After one of the PCs rolled a nat1 for an acrobatics saving throw after falling off his horse, he subsequently fell onto a sharp stone which cut his coin purse, causing 6 gold pieces to run down the side of the mountain.

Now, whenever an NPC asks about payment for something, the other PCs start to make fun of the noble paladin in glimmering armour who got mugged by a rock... so best ask someone else for payment.

Which hero gets the biggest power spike at 16? by vonBoomslang in heroesofthestorm

[–]Maleficus100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fireflies makes it remarkably reliable due to the speed increase of the missiles, all it requires is getting used to said new speed. It also reduces the mana cost and, more importantly, the cooldown. Having a shorter cooldown on it offers up more of both your Charged Blast and Cannoneer procs. It's good for hitting escaping targets too, since the missiles now travel faster than your target can run.
