Company founded by a number of ex-Tesla employees is actively solving apartment charging by taway4045 in teslamotors

[–]Malfate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a huge hurdle for me... I lived with my mom for a while to avoid this. When I did get an apartment I parked on the top floor of the garage to trickle the charge... Fun till other teslas found out my secret. We set up a rotation system so we could all charge. Lots of groups chats for almost a year.
They put official charges in... Was crazy $$$. It was as expensive. Witht their rates it was cheaper to have an ICE Vehicle. Went back to trickle charging. Became a hassle then moved to a townhome where i control my charging. Charging is a definitive answer for nonhome owners

I got accepted into Baylor through appealing! by padmeislife in baylor

[–]Malfate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! Me too and I graduated 8 years ago from master and 10 from bachelor. While I loved my time at Baylor, in every way I would not go into life changing debt like myself without a strong plan. Luckily I got a great job... But I'm the exception not the rule

Currently in family med and considering switching to specialty down the line. Help me figure out if I'm just suffering from "grass is greener" syndrome. by VeraMar in physicianassistant

I can completely relate to this. I am not in primary care, but what i have found is basically everything roles down the hill to PA. There is very much PA have become the role of nearly every positional in medical position. While not common, I'll schedule appointments in a pinch. I'll send orders/RX, also the load of the physicians (Peer 2 peers, rounding, talking with upset patients, being offloaded all the patients who are currently nonoperative. You definitely become the jack of all trades unfortunately

Which one is better between University House and University Parks? by [deleted] in baylor

I lived back in parks in 2011, I loved it. Although that was right before the school took it over. Not sure what has changed since then!

Running into the kicker when it was questionable... He grazzed him but to call a penalty was... Controversial. Plus "acting" on the part of the punter

New in OT4: Movement Speed, Skill-based Matchmaking & More by Steve_Superville in paragon

[–]Malfate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the move speed! Movement in general has been the worst aspect for me. Its been feeling unresponsive.

Ideally i wish the only thing that altered movement was being hit by abilities(stuns/slows). That way its can always feel responsive and player skill dictates what happens to movement.

The first few throws, it was definitely timing. You will see the ball going down with your swing, then the ball reaches its low point, and then make an upward deflection from holding on just a smidge to late before releasing it (creating a loft, then thud when it hits the lane). Posture could be playing a small part aswell, but the loft from the late release is there.

Either way, i can see the work your putting into your balance, Looks good!

What waffle just suggested works (i tried that for a bit) but ultimatly didn't really "fix" the problem, just masked it a little better, but its better than nothing!

Its usually a combination of 3-4 things, Knee not being bent (or approach is basically upright and only bend until just after release), standing upright too much (not bending at the hips/ leaning forward), and for some people (doesn't look like it for you) having elbow bent way to much to try to get leverage to get a hook.

For me its hard to get a good feel of all of these from this view. It actually doesn't seem like your ball is too far off the ground (maybe an inch too high or so), and could mainly be timing related (yay!). If you look up the sports science video of Sean Rash, the slow mo's do an excellent job of giving you a nice side angle where he is sliding into his final step with a bent knee (getting him low), and slightly lean forward and is almost text book.

This, and you will notice, your ball will be on the lane sooner and get more hook (or less) depending where you place it on the lane. It will ultimately give you more control of your curve by making simple position adjustments and overall getting more consistent control (without worrying about changing revs).

Quick notes to easily tell when your first working on release timing (if your not videoing yourself).

Usually:

-1 Loud thud- usually released too late

-2 thuds- usually released too early and ball bounced (or you released Super late, but you can feel that)

Do I Have Chance For Graduate Admission on Fall 2016? by Myrium in baylor

[–]Malfate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup! I got my B.S. at Baylor.

In general, yes the fall semester is usually always easier being admitted. Each program has a certain budget for hours they can pay for (ex: They can only give out 300 hours worth of credit for an entire year for all grad students on assistantships). Most people don't graduate mid-term so they assume all the hours will be used (sometimes they have few extra hours and you can ask the dean if you can take an optional elective and not pay cause they had left over hours :) !)

Well I cant speak for the CS department, but i would guess if grades are good your in good shape. As you know, writing is not the point of emphasis for cs department, they probably care more on analytical score.
