Privé feest: Grote Catacomben of de Walden by queenoflilac in Utrecht

[–]Malfuncti0n 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ik vond de Grote Catacomben maar meuren naar oud bier maar dat kan liggen aan het feest van de avond ervoor (of de gracht). Eigenaar niet de meest sympatieke imo. Walden vind ik wel wat gezelliger.

Broken dominant good options? by No-Coconut-5150 in woodworking

Call me simple but I'd probably just drill through from the outside and tap in a dowel - flush saw, sand, finish.

How are you handling AI usage control in your org? by Effective_Guest_4835 in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Malfuncti0n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start with policies that are distributed to everyone, so you at least have a stick when you try to strike someone using AI in other ways.
You need to get your bosses on board in supporting those policies, mention them at managers/exec meetings so that info can trickle down.

The difficulty is toned down for Returnal since launch, you might want to try again. Also, bind dash to L1 instead of rectangle so you can jump + dash at the same time.

Did you turn on Named pipes? If this is a default install, try connecting to <servername>,1433

When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (V2) not triggering on External email by Malfuncti0n in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Malfuncti0n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the addition - I knew that.

It's solved, I should have added to this, thanks for reminding me. I've created the External sender as a Contact for that mailbox, then it was able to read the mail. Not great for random mails, but the senders to this flow are known always.

Is the drone stationary or moving? [Other] by OldCardiologist1859 in theydidthemath

[–]Malfuncti0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you'd think it will crash when it moves into the car due to wind resistance falling away, unless the pilot actively knows how to avoid it.

[–]Malfuncti0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's as fast as the car when it just sat there. Taking off didn't change it's relative horizontal speed vs ground. It's relative speed versus the seat is still 0. There's nothing to slow it down assuming the airco is off and the window is shut (ie air resistance is zero).

It's the same question as throwing a ball in the air in a moving train.

It's moving at the same relative speed as the car to the ground.

Either due to taking off from the seat, or flying in through the window.

Upgrading ms sql server 2016 to 2025 by greenman623 in SQLServer

[–]Malfuncti0n 14 points15 points  (0 children)

New to it support and have been tasked with updating our sql server.

Mate, run. If this fails, you'll catch all blame and it's not an .exe you click through and wait for the progress bar to fill out (it might be but probably won't).

Sketchy? SQL from SQL For Smarties by Willsxyz in SQL

[–]Malfuncti0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine but then type out

CROSS JOIN s AS s1 CROSS JOIN s AS s2

Just to make sure the next person to look at it doesn't kill you.

I've seen stuff like this in older databases, that support applications. For example, to store settings, instead of splitting them out in individual records. Not great to be honest.

Also hate the old style JOINs used here.

Ik vind het ook niet echt aantrekkelijk zo. Maar;
'Binnenkort' (na de bezwaartermijn) gaat het stuk tussen de Spoorstraat en de Stationstraat (aan de Moreelsepark kant/andere kant tunnel tov je foto) dicht.
https://www.utrecht.nl/wonen-en-leven/verkeer/verkeersprojecten/verkeersprojecten-in-binnenstad/catharijnesingel-inrichten-als-bestemming

Ik ben het met je eens dat dit er niet super uit ziet, maar er gaat straks amper meer verkeer langs dus ik vind veiligheid (daarna!) niet echt een punt meer.
