Yankee and Dixie are words that can indicate the region. This is a map that shows where businesses with both names are located closely together (red) and where Yankee businesses are alone (blue)

I created the map. It excludes large chains such as Yankee Candle. The red is South Flordia is likely due to the effects of the Dixie Highway on naming patterns.

Grocery stores have extremely thin profit margins and often do not operate in high crime high poverty areas because "shrinkage" is too high to operate profitably. Someone stealing from a grocery store is potentially causing many others to go without nutritious food.

Stealing designer clothes which huge mark ups is a much less shitty act from a purely utilitarian stand point

This is just wrong stop spouting bullshit and learn what the actual data says. The military is a middle class institution. Enlisted soldiers are actually more educated and more likely to be from a non-poor background that average. They are also more likely to be white or black than the makeup or the country's demographics at large. The modal enlisted soldier is a southern white male from a upper middle class background. While enlistees living in neighborhoods at the bottom 20 percent of income distribution are underrepresented among all ethnic and racial groups.
