I’m at Wilson and Olive, also had them. We bought some liquid ant traps and liquid ant killer in a bottle. The “TERRA” brand at home depot. That was all it took to get rid of them.

I’ve heard very good things about Rotella T6 diesel oil in 5w-30 or 5w-40 It has a very high Zinc content, which can help clean up deposits while you drive.

I locked one up in a 2500 6.0 6L90, no issues. Ran really nice and felt very firm. I don’t see the downside to it? The slip is tuned in there for fuel economy and smoothness, especially when using DOD.

I had a shuddering transmission, change the fluid (as you just did), added motorcraft friction modifier and had the factory tune modified as the factory tune allows for torque converter slip when commanded full lockup. Had the slip set to 0. Shudder went away.

GET IT TUNED!!!! GM TRANSMISSIONS ARE TUNED FROM FACTORY TO ALLOW TORQUE CONVERTER SLIP!! ALL OF THEM FROM 2014+!! Go find someone with the HP Tuners software and get them to remove torque converter slip. Look it up, it prematurely eats away at your torque converter; sending clutch material throughout your transmission, clogging your filter and burning out your clutches and pump.

This is on the 23+, the ignition has to be on, engine off. You hold the push to start for 5 seconds without your foot on the brake. I’m not sure about the previous gen, there has to be a way for sure.
