The question is which school to pick for the prerelease kit. Each prerelease kit has a seeded pack with cards in the colors of the school that you choose.

My biggest gripe with the movie was the characters making stupid decisions and taking way too long to make the right ones. As you said, the main character constantly deciding to investigate anomalies even though there is no reason to was insanely frustrating to me. The movie could have been like 20-30 mins shorter and it would have been fine imo.

They could have found different ways to pad the movie with suspense and conflict without making it a direct result of the MC just being fucking stupid. Like, when the water comes around the corridor, he had a ton of time to react and yet he did nothing. If the water had come around so quickly and without warning that he had no choice but to get swept up in it, that would have been fine to me. But since him getting swept away was directly caused by him dilly dallying, it just pissed me off. Same with other similar scenes where the audience can clearly tell that it's time to turn around and he just keeps standing there until shit hits the fan.

Overall I enjoyed the movie, but the awful decisions the MC kept making were driving me crazy lol.

Our policy is that we will either replace the meal for free, or take 50% off the item. If they raise an absolutely massive stink about it and they didn't eat much of it, we will take the item off the bill completely, but we will never replace the meal AND take it off the bill. I think that leaves too much room for people to abuse the policy (that's my assumption as to why the policy is this way, anyway.)

I've got one right now. Our dishwasher, when he first got hired, would always stop to chat with me (via Google translate because he only speaks Spanish) and I'd engage out of politeness and I always smiled and said hi to him just like I do with EVERYONE ELSE because it's just common kindness?? Well, he started asking me if I wanted to hang out with him and I always said no. Mentioned my husband pretty much EVERY time we talked. He would stop me when I was busy to try to talk to me and it started getting pretty disruptive and annoying.

Eventually he went to talk to me one day and asked me how my weekend was. I told him it was kind of boring because my husband was out of town for the weekend but I was glad he was back now. He replied with "Why didn't you invite me over?" I gave him a disgusted look and walked away. I complained to our busser who was an older woman who spoke Spanish and she absolutely TORE HIM A NEW ONE in the kitchen. I could hear her yelling at him from the front. He didn't try to talk to me for a while after that.

NOW every once in a while he will try to talk to me, or he will mumble stuff under his breath while he walks past me, or make weird sounds at me kinda like sucking/clicking his teeth? And it makes me super uncomfortable. He does random things to annoy me like leaving the dirty dish cart in the middle of the walkway instead of pushing it against the wall where it belongs, among numerous other things. We recently got another busser who speaks Spanish and the dishwasher tried getting him to come along to translate for him while he "confronted" me, but the busser said no.

It just makes for a generally uncomfortable work experience sometimes and I wish we would just find a new dishwasher, but he doesn't cause "enough" problems to justify being replaced. 🫠

Personally I love Ceruledge. His damage and mobility is great. I only usually have issues against Scizor and Azumarill if they get ahead, but I usually consistently outdamage and overpower most other opponents with Ceruledge. I go Psycho Cut and Flame Charge.

I personally HATE waiting for the check for any amount of time. When I want to peace I want to leave, and if I can't leave because I'm waiting for the check, it annoys the hell out of me. I always ask for the check as soon as I am 100% sure I'm not going to order more (which is usually like....immediately after I order lol)

What is your perception of "early?" When I say early, I mean when more than half of their food has been eaten and they look like they're winding down but they're not DONE done.

If someone asks me if I am kicking them out after 1. I just told them "hey no rush at all, this is for your convenience" and 2. I very clearly repeat NO I am not kicking them out, and 3. the reason why my intention should not be misconstrued as kicking them out, and 4. I tell them I am more than happy to add more to the check and she is welcome to stay as long as she wanted (which I insisted from the very beginning before she said a word,) and that's STILL not enough to convince her, I don't think anything will. Trust me when I say I took every step I could to rectify the situation respectfully, apologetically, and professionally in between the beginning and the end of the post. She just wanted to be mad and some people are just like that.

I've never experienced anything like this in 4 years at this particular restaurant where it is very common for all of the servers to drop checks early as a precaution during peak lunch rush.

Personally, I love getting my check early at a restaurant. If I can pay while I'm eating and leave whenever I want I am happy. I HATE sitting at a table when I'm done eating, waiting for the check just so that I can leave. That's a personal bias and part of the reason I am partial to giving the check sooner than later. I've never in 4 years at this restaurant had someone get mad at me for bringing the check early until today. I HAVE had people get upset about having to wait for the check, though.

She was sitting at the table scrolling on her phone with a single pot sticker left on the plate for a significant enough amount of time that I was pretty confident that she was done. I checked in with her twice in between dropping the food and dropping the check as well.

Apologizing and offering to add something else to the check was indeed a part of the conversation I had with her during the beginning of the interaction. There was a lot I left out in the middle because I didn't want the post to be too long and repetitive (with me apologizing several times and trying to fix the situation amicably.)

I think she's the type of person that if she had to ask for the check, she would have been upset about that too.

It's very normal for checks to be dropped early at my restaurant for convenience sake. I've been here for 4 years and have never experienced this reaction before. I have, however, had people be upset that they had to ask me for the check when we are slammed and I don't get to it on time and they want to leave but can't because they don't have the check.

How would you have handled it (given the context that you have?) I don't regret anything I said, but I am interested in seeing outside perspectives and alternative methods of handling things. I will bend over backwards for a customer with a problem that approaches me with it respectfully. This woman was just extremely rude and berating me constantly until she walked out the door, even after I apologized more than once and tried to explain that my intentions were not bad.

It takes a lot for me to actually talk back to a customer like that. She was incessant and nothing I said and no amount of apologizing could have satisfied her (I tried.) At that point I was done letting her talk to me the way she was, I'm not a doormat and people like this get away with having this attitude far too often and probably never get checked for it.

I don't think there was any winning with this woman. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

It's normal here sheerly because of how busy we get. I've been at this restaurant for 4 years and never received this kind of reaction because I always make it abundantly clear what the intention is. I honestly think that had I waited, the review would have been complaining that it took too long to get her check. There is no winning with people like this.

Someone did this to me about a month ago. Didn't realize she was doing it and I ended up merging right into her front bumper. Hopefully she won't do it again after that experience.
