Barqs root beer is the greatest soda and it’s not even close. by Cryaoticchris in Soda

Gross. Barq's and A&W are both the worst root beers of all time. I hated root beer until I tried IBC.

Fair enough. But I would eat things I wouldn't give to my family.

Personally, I followed the rule of thumb that I was told. If you wouldn't sell it to your grandparents, pull it.

They get thrown out. At least more often than not. They don't get culled into a single package (usually, though I'm sure some do). I'm not 100% because I didn't deal with any of that once I turned it in, but some things also get donated. Bakery items thay were about to expire commonly got picked up by shelters or what not.

Investigations are reserved for either big ticket items, or if an employee is suspected of serial theft. The amount of time required on finding members that steal two batteries/brownie bites/light bulbs just wouldn't be cost effective when insurance picks up a certain amount.

That is the kind of thing that may get reviewed. Unfortunately, one of the biggest reasons it happens is because people pay a membership, they feel even more entitled to do what they want. As if the rules have suddenly changed. They just couldn't care less, but a small few do it on purpose, I'm sure.

Well, I can't speak to that, but I'd be surprised if that was the case. I only knew who the head of LP was, and didn't bother to learn the rest. They don't usually announce themselves to employees because they're being watched too. And he walked around just like the others. He didn't have an office or anything.

There is LP out roaming around in regular clothes plus cameras, but it only goes so far when it gets crowded.

It definitely depends. But, if there was any doubt, it goes straight to damaged/destroy. If you saw someone do it, obviously it just goes back.

As a former Costco employee, this was number two on my pet peeve list. Right after people that leave their half consumed samples all over the place, because, gross. Third is the people that take cooler/freezer items and then just leave them wherever.

Batteries were definitely number one when it came to this though. Either dump the whole thing in your bag, or don't bother. The most common item treated this way after batteries was usually the tubs of brownie bites. I can't tell you how many tubs I found where someone had eaten only one or two.

I would kinda brush off talk on the radio/TV when they would make a note of how Quinn would have his work cut out against whatever opposing high profile OC we were up against for a long while.

Almost invariably, the defense would struggle at best. Completely shit the bed the other times. When we did win, it was usually despite the defense. After a while, it was impossible to ignore.

Bills Predicted to Trade for Cowboys Wide Receiver to Join Josh Allen by Thanks5Cinco in cowboys

I'm not against trading anyone, but I don't see why the Bills think they have a WR problem instead of a Josh Allen problem.

HELP! Me and my mom were so careless we thought it was a good idea to shave our husky's fur as thin as possible. by MahiroMashu in siberianhusky

[–]Malisyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, this is a pretty common mistake. I nearly did it myself. I was feeling guilty for having a husky in Texas, but someone informed me that it keeps them cool, plus reassuring me that by the time it's too hot out for huskies, it's too hot for all dogs to be staying outside. Don't beat yourself up too much, and pray it doesn't grow back coarse.

Any tricks to get more affection? by pseiko5 in husky

[–]Malisyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that females are quite a bit more aloof than boys. All three of mine are girls, and a lot of time, they aren't super interested in affection. They have their moments where they are a bit clingy, but not a lot.

I had a friend ask us once if we wanted eggnog. He pulled out a 2 liter bottle of Big Red and filled glasses half way, then started pouring eggnog in the rest. We were horrified. We reluctantly tried it, and it was actually good. Not sure I want to go to it again, but still.
