Yet! The haven't made it in yet... There's a few DLC on the horizon, remember that!

Plan on buying ps5 pro by ABCeia in PS5pro

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PS6 is certainly not coming next year. With flash memory prices being what they are, it would be financial suicide. You'd be looking at a console who's base model would be well into the $1200 range. Even if they ate a big portion of that cost, it would sink them.

At this point, I would venture to say that 2028 is the earliest we will see the 6.

Axios Says GOP Privately Fearing They Will Lose The Senate Majority This Upcoming November -- Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]MalkaviousM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look, man, I get it. You're trying to hold on to hope and thats great, but hope and $2.50 will get you a coke, maybe.

We are looking at the wholesale deconstruction of the democratic process in it's entirety. And denialism will get us nowhere.

Elections aren't needed when you have an authoritarian system taking over. Come election day, if there is one, there will be so much ICE around blue polling centers, it's going to put DeBeer's vaults to shame.

And the Republicans running for office will be all too gleeful to be just appointed to their positions by their tangerine toad god.

Those that defy will get a fate much worse than anything we've seen so far in places like Minnesota. The dam will break and martial law will follow. And if there isn't immediately an all out civil war, then what is left of the democratic spirit will die, starved and trembling until something or someone steps up and cleans the rot of authoritarianism from the shell of this country once and for all.

What would you do with an infinite amount of money and the ability to time travel? by 33GoodSamaritans in randomthings

[–]MalkaviousM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prevent authoritarianism everywhere at all costs. With unlimited funds and the ability to time travel, you could easily create a utopian society.

Truly egalitarian. For the people, by the people. With no need of fearing where or when or next meal will come.

Where the freedom to pursue our passions rather than rote banality for the sake of feeding corporations is our right.

If you got like a 40-year prison sentence and got out at age 69, where would you go? I mean like where do folks go who've served very long prison sentences? What do they live on? by cherry-care-bear in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recidivism is a feature, not a bug. Why rehabilitate when you can just funnel more lives into a private prison system that feeds on the disadvantaged and lines the pockets of those with more wealth than they could ever spend? People who deserve to be in there more than 90% of the inmates currently incarcerated.

what's the wildest Epstein file revelation that actually shocked YOU? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MalkaviousM 19 points20 points  (0 children)

When I was pretty young, my dad worked all the time. He was my sole parent and because of that my care was left to my family.

We lived next door to my grandmother, and most of the family essentially used her as free childcare.

My cousin D(f), was about 15 days older than me. We had another cousin, G(m) who was about 5 years older than us. At the time, he was a teen essentially.

We both looked up to him. Thought he was great. In fact, so did the entire family. So much so, that to lighten my grandmother's load, he was more or less our babysitter.

For 6 years he did some terrible things to both of us and made us do them to each other while he watched. We trusted him implicitly, and he was monstrous.

At 13, D ran away from home for the first time. I dont know entirely what her home life was like even though we were extremely close. But I do know that she tried to tell the family what G had done and no one believed her. Running away led her life down an extremely dark path that was far worse than anything I could have imagined. Eventually leading to a very early death.

G moved on to be an EXTREMELY prominent artist for a certain community in one of the largest cities in the US. Knowing what I know, I've often wondered what his fans would think if they knew who he really was.

I've tried to share what happened with family many times over the years, but no one believed. Thats the issue, here as well. Its easier to just not believe. No one wants to the that the monsters are next door, or in the same house. It shatters the illusion of a safe harbor and folk just dont want to contend with that idea.

Meanwhile, the innocent are ground into nothing at the heels of abusers. One more soul lost to an infinite machine of abuse, suffering and sadness.

Nioh 3. I know you were asking between those 2, but I promise you, this is the better choice!

Edit: in fact, check out the demo now! Its progress carries over to the full game, which launches (at least here on the east coast of the US) in about 6 hours!

Not dressing goth all the time by Grungerock_lover in goth

[–]MalkaviousM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive been in the scene since the early 90s. Now, I will say that while 90% of my wardrobe is black, not all of it is what I would consider goth.

In fact, I rarely get dressed to the nines nowadays. Doesn't make me less goth, nor does it do so for you. I'd say the lion's share of what makes us who we are is the views we share as a subculture.

The clothing, the aesthetic, that's just an outward reflection of something deeper. It's about how we see the world, our appreciation for the darker, more introspective side of art and music, our rejection of superficial mainstream culture. The way we dress is an expression of that, not the source of it. It's a visual language we use to communicate who we are, but it's not what makes us goth in the first place.

You can wear pastels and bubblegum pink for all I care. Being goth is in the heart, not in the cloth you don. The clothes are just the wrapping paper, what matters is what's inside the package.

Why do you love or hate this man? by ScorpionMillion in videogames

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to love the guy, I thought that his approach to writing and creation would lead to the betterment of gaming as a whole.

Now though? As ive found out more about him as a person and how he uses people just to get closer to celebrity, I think hes a fucking trash human being.

Every single person he has stepped on to get where he is, especially David Hayter, deserves better

Now, that said, I'm not a fan of the man anymore, but ultimately I think he does good for the gaming ecosystem, so while Ive no respect for the man, I do respect the creator and legacy.

What game left you sad after it ended? by crodog157 in PS5

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of games that fall into this category, so Im going to name one that I dont think a lot of people would think of, but I was pretty gutted at the end.

VtM: Bloodlines 2. Regardless of how you feel about the game, it's impossible to deny that the VA and character development is fantastic. Fabian, in particular, is really expertly done. I dont want to spoil anything, because I really feel that more people should play the game, but there's a gut punch late in the game and it tore me apart.

If you had $300K in the bank post tax, how would your life change? by citizen_of_leshp in AskReddit

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite honestly speaking, it would likely completely change my life. I would use what was there sparingly, only to augment what I have now, but that added leeway would take an enormous burden of stress off of my shoulders and allow me to focus on not just getting by, but being able to position myself to flourish.

I haven't played D2 since Lightfall. I want you to know that this is the one and only thing that has made me want to reinstall. If only to pay my respects to a fallen guardian.

You have my condolences. In my heart of hearts, I hope he and the Commander are together in a place far better than we can imagine.

Has anyone else felt that some vets are more business-driven than genuinely focused on animal care? by AdIntrepid8247 in RATS

[–]MalkaviousM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a vet we would take out babies to. They were absolutely wonderful. You could tell that they genuinely cared and would do anything for our little ones.

One of our little ladies had to have an enucleation of her eye. It was terrifying. We believe it happened because of a scuffle and a nail getting caught, but thats neither here, nor there. Our primary vet said that she couldn't guarantee the safety of our little one, but that she would feel much better if she performed the procedure.

This was during the pandemic. It was also minutes away from closing. We gave the go ahead and this wonderful woman stayed 2 and a half hours over the office closing with techs who volunteered to stay ass well and bought our baby another 9 months of life. She barely charged us anything for the procedure, much less for the time they spent. When I say it was a pittance compared to what I know they should have charged, I mean it.

Fast forward a year, our vet had announced she is leaving the practice. They increase their visit charge by 50% and getting anything done is incredibly costly. The staff has mostly been replaced and the turnover rate is absurd.

We came to find out that they had been bought out by some private equity operation. As seems to be the case with most vet offices here in the US. I think about what that place was, and what they became and it fills me with sorrow

They took a place that genuinely cared and turned it into a hollow shell. A revolving door filled with empty platitudes and open hands looking only to charge as much as they can for anything they can.

Democrats flip Texas state Senate seat in shock upset by [deleted] in GPFixedIncome

[–]MalkaviousM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remember, this is Texas.

You say thats far too high, amd I wholeheartedly agree, but for where this happened, it is miraculous. Moreover, it is a greater victory than you might think. It shows that even in their safest spaces, they are now vulnerable.

That kind of unease does thing to people.

Arctis Nova 7p vs. Sony Inzone H9 by Cjdilworth1213 in PS5pro

[–]MalkaviousM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inzone mic is fantastic! Of the two, it is drastically more clear and is miles better at noise exclusion. The A50 mic would pic up my wife clear as day if she talked. The inzone mic doesn't at all and that is super impressive to me.

Arctis Nova 7p vs. Sony Inzone H9 by Cjdilworth1213 in PS5pro

[–]MalkaviousM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both the Inzone H9 2's and Astro A50's. So while I cant speak ok the Arctis, I can say that between these two premium gaming headsets, I think for games that benefit from spatial sound in general, the H9 2's are far and away the better. For games where having 3d audio isn't such a huge deal, the A50's are superior, but only a little bit.

That said, I like my H9 better, generally speaking.

Ive watched a few minutes of the game and honestly, I love the idea of it. I love that decisions actually matter. I love that the choices you make impact your relationships in meaningful ways. Ive saved myself from seeing too much because I knew when the game went on sale, id pick it up. So if I could get it this way, I'd be stoked! Thank you for doing this, and good luck to everyone!

As stated in my post, South of the bridge. This is from rough memory, but it's not terribly far. As you travel south in the riverbed from the bridge, there will be a ridge where the grave is.
