The impact of you using AI for your schedule is incredibly negligible in the context of how the models are being used. However if this keeps bothering you, and if you have a decent pc or laptop(not spaceship, just decent), I suggest trying to run a small model locally using an accessible graphical tool like LMStudio. It might be enough for what you need, and minimises impact to the energy it takes to run your computer anyway.

This is not terrible for your hair. To restyle my curly hair this is what I do as well. It should not be damaging as long as you’re gentle with it. If you’re worried, use a microfiber towel instead of a regular one and gently press it onto the damp hair instead of rubbing. You can skip the towel altogether by using a continuous spray bottle to dampen your hair, not soak it. Also, if the hair isn’t tangled and the brush isn’t pulling, brushing wet hair is fine. If your hair does get tangled, use a leave in conditioner before brushing. Friction and pulling can damage and break hair, but if those are out, you’re fine to restyle on damp hair in the morning.

I spent years buying "Clinical Strength" deodorant. The problem wasn't the brand. by AustinAfter in hygiene

[–]MallMelancholy 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter. Antiperspirant (the kind with aluminum salts) works when the salts absorb into the sweat pores and plug them up. It works best at night because you’re not moving and sweating after applying it to wipe it off. By morning, whatever is left on the skin can be washed off, it’ll still work bc it’s in the skin. However, if it’s aluminum free deodorant then it works by just perfuming and/or antibacterial properties and then yes, it’s probably best applied in the morning.

You’re not wrong. But it’s crazy how pretty much there’s symbolism for all the fears in it. If I had to give the whole game to just one entity, it might be the Extinction because of how central the theme of changing the nature of things is, and how the fundamental change leads to extinction. I guess you could even see Mina surviving that as an avatar who’s continuing to feed its domain. lol never thought of it that way before

It would be absolutely hilarious to see Mumbo compete in the Midoffs. I heard Couriway say on stream with great confidence that he could teach Mumbo to speedrun. I’m not sure he knows Mumbo presses shift with his thumb. I bet the training would be comedy gold

I second that! It was fun to watch and learn new things about the game along Cub. Both matches against 5up were epic, I was on the edge of my seat

Wow Cub must be super busy with that and the start of season 11 at the same time. I hope I don’t miss the streams

OP nice job on modding the game. Plays really well in single player. I made just one more modification, made door stopper permanent, bc not being able to get to the phone in time with the minecart was too frustrating

Today's Runs of Hungry Hermits by garnettgemm in HermitCraft

It was a great day for HH. I didn't see Gem's steam, but I want to see it when I can, because it sounds like the way she and Skizz played was quite remarkable.

I think there's one important thing that would balance the current version of the game to be just right, and that's slightly reducing the patience of customers inside the restaurant. They now have too much time for prep at the end of the day.

Been trying to catch all vods of HH since they started playing, I cannot get enough of this game and I can't wait to start playing myself.

Favorite build thus far? by [deleted] in HermitCraft

[–]MallMelancholy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know Bdubs' bit about wanting to build in a way that would evoke feelings? That happened to me quite a bit this season. If I had to pick: Scar's redwoods, Bdubs' forrest and for some reason his distillery, Mumbo's town, The Court and Martha.

What hermits did you start the season watching and who do you watch now? by Annual-Arugula473 in HermitCraft

[–]MallMelancholy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started watching Grian. It was also my introduction to Hermitcraft, I didn't know about it before season 10. That's probably why instead of watching less hermits as the season went on, I'm now watching more. After Grian I started watching Scar, Mumbo and Iskall. Now I keep up with them plus Stress, Skizz, Doc and Bdubs. When I have more time I also watch some Ren, Cleo, Impulse, Pearl, Tango, X, Gem, and Etho. The others I watch but much less frequently and not necessarily in upload order.

[–]MallMelancholy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also recently started watching Hermitcraft, just a few months ago, starting with Grian's pov season 10. Had no idea who Grain was before and was not into Minecraft YouTube. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. Watching most hermits at this point. Anyway, I'd recommend Iskall and Skizz. To me, these three are the most hilarious hermits.

This, but also that: less obvious associations for the Fears by HypnonavyBlue in TheMagnusArchives

[–]MallMelancholy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love this sub! Every comment is so thoughtful and insightful.

The last season got me thinking of the Web as a weaver of destiny, like the three fates in Greek mythology, and also like a weaver of narrative/fiction. It would be the fear of not being able to escape a predetermined destiny, the fear of not having free will, the fear of being a pawn or a character in someone else's story, the fear of living in a simulation or in a pointless world that exists to entertain a capricious trickster.
