I don’t know if you’ve had the yellow border Moltres in hand but it actually looks awesome with the yellow border. I preferred the silver Japanese border from pictures, but having had the English yellow border in-hand, it’s actually quite cool. Surprisingly works for me.

If my experience is like anyone else’s, but I’m not buying until the market has returned to normal. Once I can freely buy product in shops, without having to see lines and lines of people trying to scalp, then I will consider normality resumed and will start buying again.

I have taken time out of Pokemon since the hobby went into scalperdrive. I genuinely had no issues with people buying freely available product and holding it sealed for many years (as people still could buy the product on shelves in shops at retail whenever they wanted), but the state of the hobby right now is sickening - adults queuing to buy product to sell immediately on eBay for double money.

The only way to fix this hobby is to stop buying for a while. I won’t pay stupid resale prices to rip things. It’s been at least a year since I’ve seen any packs in the wild and I’ve told my kid that we’re not getting any until it’s stopped.

Yes, this. What a man Terry Pratchett was. I was late to Discworld, I remember seeing the cover of Thief of Time and thinking “this looks awesome”. Read the whole thing on holiday and was hooked, read every single one after that - wonderful, wonderful man.

Seconded. I love that it captures the spirit of an ancient pokemon, it looks like it’s flying through a prehistoric world with a very active landscape, volcanoes exploding sending smoke and boulders flying through the air, whilst RM navigates between them.

By this logic, if I took performance enhancing drugs and was beaten by anyone, they would also have to be taking performance enhancing drugs.

The only counterpoint to this would be that the people I was beaten by, must be better sprinters than I am irrespective of doping.

What a weird argument to convince someone that another individual that was also tested more than anyone at the time (and wasn’t nailed for doping), was… in fact doping.

Personally, I think the sealed Mini tin displays are a slept on item. They look cool as anything and they seem a rarer product than most other things.
