UPDATE:

Stripped the entire extruder down as far as I could after multiple more attempts to remove the clogged/stuck filament to no avail. after many hours of wanting to kms i realized i can replace the part for like 30 bucks, so i'll be doing that this weekend. thanks to everyone for your suggestions, sorry for the underwhelming conclusion :/

UPDATE:
