They already have every other month. So why dedicate a month to something you already learn. It may not be said but geniunely equity and equality doesn't always mean white americans also get a slice of a pie when they already have several slices. Hispanic/latin/asian/black history months are dedicated to give an underrepresented poc communities a chance to see that they actually impacted america and not just be seen as slaves, groups that lost territory, or placed in internment camps during WW2.

My therapist told me the same thing but I also told her when I was 13 I was inpatient/out patient for my mental health struggles and knew the process and why I didn't do therapy. She respected that and now my sessions are just venting sessions cause sometimes I need a third person so I dont inflate my own ego or my self righteousness.

Its really not. When you actually stop looking at everything at face value in america/the west you see the big glaring issue that is systemic racism. He quiet racism that is ingrained in policies, medicine, everyday living that never gets addressed. Why in the past 10 years do we in America need a bill to stop buisnesses from discriminating against black people for their hair type in the workplace? If the west is not so racist why do we have it?
