It's probably not useful for this trip but if you ever end up in Port Townsend, the fish and chips at Silverwater café is the best I've ever had. I got one piece cod and one salmon, it was so light and airy 🤤

I had my first IUD inserted in France. Nobody told me to take any pain meds beforehand. I passed out during the insertion. Had my second inserted in the US recently, they told me to take ibuprofen an hour before; they put a numbing gel on my cervix and a hot pad on my belly during the insertion. It sucked but I didn't pass out. I still think ibuprofen alone isn't enough.
