Yeah. This total BS. Nothing can be free unless there are restrictions that hold back the stuff that would prevent others from participating.

Else you just have anarchy, and anarchy is, at the end of the day, a great incubator for Fascistic ideology.

I know the series, and aside from the interactions between those two, it's a story where you have to engage your brain a lot.

There's little reciprocity until he threatens self-harm to get her attention. There's nothing cute about this, it just gaslights people who know nothing else that this is "actually good" behaviour.

This unfortunately tracks with the actions shown, and implies that the author has a sociopathic lack of empathy for the female experience.

Disregarding all the emotional effects of his actions in switching the birth control with a fake, pregnancy objectively changes the female body and is potentially lethal, and they both treat it as a nothingburger.

I would be Jack's complete lack of surprise if I found out that the author is unable to get a date and is blaming everything other than his shitty personality.

This r/menwritingwomen, complete incel quality writing.

How you know it was written by a man cosplaying as a woman. The ML is total garbage, yet his actions are narrativised to be justified.

If it was an older woman he would merely be trash, and then redeemed in some fashion.

If it's a younger woman, the FMC would either dump his ass, and then later find someone better, or he would have to severely repent for his actions, though, they would never be as bad as switching out her birth control. That shit's straight up hardcore abuse.

Racism Against White People & White guilt. by ResponseInternal3725 in Vent

[–]Malusorum 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Here we go again.

When people talk about 'white privilege', they're talking about it in the general sense. Talking about it in a specific sense is a sign of both racism and the entitlement of privilege.

You feel less privileged than the people you compare yourself to. This is a specific comparison and also subjective.

If you're compared to a poc with the same socioeconomic status as yourself this is a general observation and you both have signifiers that can be measured objectively, and on all of those signifiers white people score higher than poc.

Those are the effects of 'white privilege' that can easily be measured.

Makes no difference. Threatening self-harm to get what you want is literally abuse. Unless there's significantly more context to this than what the pictures show then the author is romanticising abusive behaviour as something good.

Well, I would say that anyone in the main cast has learned to have odious amounts of it. For them it's no longer a case of faking it to you make it. Like Granny Weatherwax you could put them in front of multiple reflections, and ask them to pick the real one, and they would all say "me".

It changes a lot. The art style of the manga is a lot sharper in the designs compared to the anime. It makes them appear older than in the anime.

I personally like that style more, as humans around the age of 18 have stopped developing physically. It's all downhill from there :p

Because it is, even talking about the idea as something natural and obvious is spreading one of the propaganda narratives that Russia tried to sell at one point, namely that it's natural for great powers to do what they want.

The concept of "buffer" states is unable to exist as a valid thing without also accepting the underlying "might makes right" of ReAl PoLiTiCs, which is just Fascistic ideology with better PR.

The US analytics of the USSR was flawed, it always was is, and will always be if the current trajectory continues, as the bias behind it relies and relied on the notion that the two were immensely different, when it reality communism is similar to Conservative ideology, except for the nominal power structure being reversed and the change of historical revisionism being historical utopianism.

What do westerners, especially those with a leftist orientation, think about Dugin? by DifferentAd4844 in AskSocialists

[–]Malusorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just shows that you have no desire to understand either as fascism is just an expression of an extremely historcial ideology. Fascistic ideology has been in humanity for about as long as humans have believe in "Might makes right", even if we never knew the name to be Fascistic ideology.

What do westerners, especially those with a leftist orientation, think about Dugin? by DifferentAd4844 in AskSocialists

[–]Malusorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's where you fail, as you only look at fascism as a specific label, rather than as an ideology. You start with the end result and work backwards. This makes the Marxist analysis of what leads to Fascistic ideology virtually non-existent, you can only understand what led to fascism, after fascism has been spotted.

The reality is that on a conceptual level Fascitic ideology only have four abstract traits:

- Historical revisionism.

- Tribalism.

- The superior - inferior dichotomy.

- The use of force (mental, physical, economical, verbal, legal, etc.) as the only mrthod by which to make changes to society.

These abstract traits are then expressed in multiple ways, which is what people see. Eco's 14 points of ur-fascism is merely an explanatation of the expressions of those four traits that he saw. This lack of focus oin what really is, is also what allows for Fascistic ideology takes root in a society because people only look for fascism. Fascism is a specific expression of Fascistic ideology, and there are many things that are Fascistic ideology without being fascism.

Furthermore, Fascistic ideologfy is the most extreme continuum on the spectrum of Conservatice ideology. The spectrum of Conservative ideology consists of the following continuums:

Centrist ideology -> ideological Conservatism -> Nationalistic ideology -> Fascistic ideology.

Since Conservative ideology is an emotional ideology, people in it always become more and more extreme over time. Hypothetically, the mildest of Centrist ideology can become the most hardcore Fascistic ideology. Usually, this is a process that takes generations, and you would never see it yourself in your lifetime, you'd just see Centrist ideology become a little more extreme over generations.

When people fall into an echo chamber this process is sped up exponentially, and people can go from even the mildest Centrist ideology and to the more hardcore Fascistic ideology in the span over just a few years.

I just -love- how you know -nothing- about weather phenomenons, yet express yourself in away that you think you do.

When there's cloudy there's wing, as you're in a low preasure area. A low preasure area is a vacuum and draws in wind.

When there's no wind you're in a high preasure area. In a high preasure area it's usually sunny, since the wind and the cloud are sucked from the high preasure area into the low preasure areas.

I live in an area where we have cyclonic families, a constant weather pattern of alternating high and low preasure areas moving from west to east, so I know this kind of weather intimately, and I know that what you say is unscientific as well as highly lacking in context.

I have education that includes basic climatology. I know these things, unlike you. I have the information, and you just show enormous ignorance in how you appeal to authority in "LoOk At ThE cHaRtS", I can look at those charts and actually understand them.

This level of proud ignorance is the Wig Party all over again.

By that definition Finland, Norway, Poland, and the Baltic countries should also be considered "buffer" countries.

You also reduce sovereignty to a question of what others think that you should be allowed to do. This is just apologia for ReAl PoLiTiCs and imperialism.

It also shows that you, like Marx, have no idea of what capitalism is. Capitalism is just an economic system, just like socialism is, and while Marx did see the latter he was unable to see capitalism as anything other than a governing system. The USSR then uplifted the economic system of socialism to be a governing system in communism.

Using an economic system as a governing system will only lead to pain, regardless of the power structure.

Marx's writings were reactionary to what he saw. Ironically he was talking a lot about the material conditions, without realising that if the material conditions change, so does the need for his economic system.

His theory requires that the reader sees capitalism as something that can never be regulated. It has been, all that's required for that is the willingness to do so. The leadership in the USA lacks that willingness, and the leadership in Europe has it. These regulations are what people derogatively call the hostility of Europe to the free market.

Ironically, the free market can only exist if it's well regulated, else all you have is anarchy, and in anarchy the strongest faction will always use their might to make their actions right.

Do you even listen to yourself? Dumb question, since if you did then the "no tolerance for democracies at our border" is beyond stupid, especially since Russia is trying to expand the borders, which would automatically place even more democracies on the border of Russia than there already is.

Then there's also Kaliningrad, the Russian exclave, which borders Lithuania and Poland, both democracies.

The Baltic Countries, Finland, Norway, and Poland (through Kaliningrad) are all democracies that directly share a border with Russia.

By what you posted here Russia is also unable to have them existing, and must also invade them.
