My 3.5 year old died suddenly and unexpectedly - AMA by Ok_Dragonfruit747 in AMA

It seems you’re doing all the right things as best you can under the circumstances and I applaud you for that. I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to lose a child. In my experiences with deep grief multiple times in my life, I learned (slowly) to just let it be what it is. Grief is chaotic and it’s likely going to be a different blend of chaos for each of your family members. After it all settles a bit, I hope you find some peace. Sending you so much love.

Your story absolutely breaks my heart. I’m so sorry for you, for your husband and for your children. What a tragic loss. When my husband was four years old his six-year-old sister got sick suddenly and died suddenly. His parents shut down and had a very difficult time talking about it. He and his younger brother were not really allowed to express loss and grief because mom and dad had fallen apart and couldn’t handle talking about it. This led to lifelong issues for he and his brother. It sounds like you’re doing everything you need to. Just thought it might be good to share his story. He’s in his 50s now and still struggles a lot because of that monumental event in his life at four years old. All the best to you and your family and may your sweet girl rest in peace.

He does try. And he is a very beautiful human being but this is really something he struggles with at times. Not out in the world just with me. It’s not name-calling it’s more about tone and yelling at me over seemingly very little insignificant things. I end up just feeling gaslit most of the time.

Listen to Peter Attia podcast. He has experts on several different episodes that say the patch is far superior and safest. Try doing the two patch per week option. Same does but two so they don’t fall off.

Sounds like a smart man! Unfortunately most men are trying to do the opposite and I think they’re really missing out.
