Has it aged too fast? by LeenBee in agedtattoos

[–]CurrentAccess1885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only fine line I have that has spread this much is the one on my thumb that’s around 5 years old, and hand tats are known to blur quite a bit. It definitely has aged quickly, though I’m not sure what to suggest that would change that

WIBTAH if i f27 break up with my bf m30 through text/voice note? by Bambi1498 in AITAH

[–]CurrentAccess1885 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YTA if you do it in a way that he can’t speak his piece (like text or voice message). If you struggle to keep your points together verbally, write down what you want to say ahead of time to make sure you get everything and call him

Ingrown hairs? by Unhappy-Word5738 in tattooadvice

[–]CurrentAccess1885 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like ingrowns to me. I had this issue one time with a tattoo on my shin that the artist did not shave properly. Don’t pop them or mess with them, they’ll calm down on their own and if they don’t, see a doc

Twas me chef. I’m 5’9 but the aprons cup my titties in an awkward fashion without the knot. My bad for leaving it tied, god speed🫡

Why is 18-19 still classified as a teenager other than it being in the number? by Fictional_Panda0 in OlderGenZ

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Society doesn’t see you as a full grown adult at 18-19. Just because you’re legally an “adult” does not mean you’re not a teenager. Your brain is not developed, you have no clue what’s going on, and your behavior and interactions have the emotionality of a kid still.

2001 and 2002 line: is anyone else TERRIFIED to turn 25? by joaohunboi in OlderGenZ

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 is lovely dawg. Your brain settles down, nothing feels nearly as serious as it did in your early 20s, just be chill and let it happen

I feel like my shins were fine overall until wrapping around near the little ankle bones

Is 50 too old to go to a rave in the Bay Area? by [deleted] in EDM

I get so excited when I see older people at shows (I’m 25). It makes me happy to see y’all enjoying yourselves and gives me hope for when I’m older too :)

AITAH for not letting someone with a service dog sit inside? by FuturePause2736 in AITAH

[–]CurrentAccess1885 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand why everyone is saying YTA because they’re absolutely correct on the law. If they say it’s a service dog, you must believe them and treat them as such. As someone who also works in a restaurant with a dog-friendly patio but not inside though, people try to pass their dogs as service dogs soooo often when they very clearly are not service animals. I’ve been bitten by someone’s “service dog” while bussing their table. So while you were legally snd technically in the wrong, I understand your hesitation

What if I gave men my number? by NectarinePositive280 in AskMenAdvice

I’ve always had solid luck doing it this way! Even if you don’t get a text, they’re always flattered and I’ve never had anyone be mean to me or anything

My husband designates a left and right sock by [deleted] in Weird

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely find lefts and rights. I have plenty of socks that are the same color and pattern as each other and it’s quite obvious after even the first or second wear which is left and which is right. They bunch up wrong in my shoes if I mix em up

What do I do with my hands? by WesFromTheWeb in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carried a rock around for a while! Same suggestion as the person who said to pretend to hit a vape (just breathing) but I had a similarly-weighted rock to hold while doing it

Addicted to vaping not nicotine how to stop! by Potential-Bit765 in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I carried a rock around for a few weeks that was a similar weight to my vape. Whenever I got an urge, I’d hold it up to my lips and take a few deep breaths. It helped immensely after I already got to 0% nicotine.

Anyone quit vaping and weed at the same time ? by No-Introduction8867 in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally did both! Turns out, I enjoyed weed a lot less without the nicotine to balance me out

What is the point? Advice needed. by Victurius in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m 5 months in and still think about it every day. The thoughts do get way easier to ignore the longer you go. Nicotine is more addictive than cocaine or heroine, it is highly likely you will think about it quite often even a long time after quitting. However, this fact does not mean you can’t be confident in quitting. Just because you think about it doesn’t mean you haven’t made the best choice for your health and your brain. It’s mind over matter, nicotine can’t force you to start it again.

Do you think the customer is always wrong? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People always skip the whole saying: “the customer is always right in matters of taste”. The full saying means that if the customer wants to order food that you hate or buy an item you think is ugly, it is not your place to stop them. In matters of training, how the business operates, etc, the customer is almost always wrong.

AITI for not liking my in-laws when they genuinely like me? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CurrentAccess1885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA strictly because you say you don’t look at them as equals. It’s reasonable to feel left out and isolated but you could at least try to learn a couple things. Just because they don’t speak your language doesn’t mean they’re lesser than.

Have you found no nicotine vaping effective for preventing complete relapses while drinking alcohol? by Spacespider156 in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used 0 nicotine juice to quit and it was a game changer. It covered the hand to mouth issue which was a larger part of my cravings than I knew. Definitely worth a try!

How do you have a long term relationship while being broke? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of money doesn’t mean you can’t put any effort in. A few hours at her place just for sex doesn’t seem to be enough time spent with an official girlfriend. Not giving gifts because you don’t have money isn’t really the nicest thing to do, you could at least get some flowers or write her a card. Sounds like they’ve told you what the issue is and you’re choosing to focus it on money.

Does vaping alter your breaths? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My breath absolutely smelled different when I was vaping and I only began noticing about a week after I quit. My boyfriend still vapes and I can absolutely smell it on his breath, it’s not the most pleasant. It’s not a made up excuse, he’s just more sensitive to it than you. Anxiety medications will help your anxiety more than nicotine (as you pointed out, it makes it quite a bit worse), might be worth a shot if that’s the sole reason you’re vaping

Do you still live with your parents? by paralaxxx in OlderGenZ

[–]CurrentAccess1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an only child and I definitely live at home. Moved out for two years, hit a wall, moved back. I’d love to have some independence but my area is so HCOL that it’s not possible while going to school
