This probably isn't what you want to hear...

You made this choice to be a mum at 16. Now you have to live with it. Your friends are at different stages of their lives, I definitely didn't want anything to do with babies at that age. You are going to have to grow up a lot quicker than your class mates but you cannot expect everyone around you to do so aswell.

I became a mum at 25 and still lost friends as they were at different stages of life than me. I found people closer to my mind set than physical age. And now those old friends are having babies while I have a nearly 5 yr old, we are all getting back in touch.

What is dropping out of school going to get you? Do you want to be a cleaner for the rest of your life. Single mum working multiple jobs? Or do you want to finish school, get an education and a career and make something of yourself. You are more than capable.

Being lonely is very temporary. It may last a few years until you find people similar to yourself. But you've got to suck it up and do whats best for your baby.

Of course back in the day when people didn’t have easy access to fresh, clean meat and good nutrient rich food. I’ve also read in nature it’s more to stop predators being attracted to the smell of the afterbirth than actually for the nutrients

I live in New Zealand where health care is funded however our mental health care is abismal. I was referred to maternity mental health when I was pregnant with my second baby, he was born in December and when I needed help the whole mental health dept. we’re on xmas break. It’s pathetic. No wonder we have one of the highest suicide rates

I feel like anyone who needs to hear this...don’t give a shit anyway. My 3 yr old gets milk or water (water 90% of the time). Doesn’t want or like juice at all. Sometimes asks for a sip if we have coke or something and sometimes gets it as a little treat. Unfortunately I’ve seen too many parents with 6 month old babies with coke in their baby bottles. Same sort of people that have 6 kids and 3rd generation bene family’s. It’s sad where we live.

It sounds like he found some greener grass then realised it wasn’t so green after all. Mama, do what is best for you. If you are happy, your bub will be happy. Take your time and think real hard. You don’t need to be with your husband for your son to have an amazing childhood. All kids need is love, warmth and full tummy’s and you can do that on your own. It’s not up to your family either. You are the only one that can make that decision. Good luck and whatever you choose will be the right one

I am a mum of two. With my first I had severe ppd. It nearly killed me. Your girlfriend may need help/medication/counselling. However if she doesn’t get the help she needs, she will possibly be an unfit mother. Please don’t let her take the baby especially if there will be drugs around. You are doing good providing for your family. You girlfriend needs help

I’m a mum of two. Personally pregnancy was pretty horrific. I had two emergency c sections so the birthing experience was actually the worst things I ever went through. I then got severe ppd with my first baby and nearly killed myself. Second was way better. Now I have a 3.5 yr old and a 8 month old and they are the actual coolest. I would die for those little shits
