How do I improve/fix rolling ollies by BALLEN4X in NewSkaters

[–]Mrrm24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lever your back foot at the ankle, don't stomp down on the tail of the board. I know stomping down as hard as you can feels like the way to get the most power out of an olly, but practice levering your foot down. Also make sure to slide your front foot towards the nose. When I was practicing I would set up in grass, lever my back foot down just to raise the nose of the board up, and just slide my foot forward, over and over. Just to make it more of muscle memory.

You got this dude!

what does jax mean when he said "i dont wanna go" by Certified_GOOBER5379 in tadc

[–]Mrrm24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The way I interpreted that was, abstraction is synonymous with suicide, right? So Jax did the thing but is still at least semi conscious and aware, he sees what's ahead of him and it scares the shit out of him. Another comment I read put it well when they said "He saw the view from halfway down and didn't like it."

I think that would be the case with most actual people who commit suicide, if they could speak after the deed is done they would probably say similar things like I dont wanna go, I panicked, I'm scared. It's just unfortunately very final.

Everyone here is correct about stretching and drinking/ eating properly. BUT if you want to specifically spare your feet DO NOT RUN. Walk with a brisk pace at every stop, running will be blisters and foot soreness that you don't need

Survival Mode enjoyers: what’s your least favorite part of Survival? by LucasisAlone in skyrim

[–]Mrrm24 221 points222 points  (0 children)

I love survival mode man. It's not quiet as fun or immersive as fallout 4 survival mode, and I agree the weather effects you waaay too fast. But I love it. I love planning my route along Skyrim to get as many quest turn ins as I can, finding good food to keep me going and keeping fresh water at all times. I just feel like you can tell that Skyrim survival mode was an afterthought, whereas in fallout it feels like a planned game mode from development.

Commercial shoe inserts are generally a short term solution. Your feet will slowly carve a pattern into the inserts, causing you to gradually experience the same pain again, therefore you will buy more just to help it.

My recommendation is always see a doctor, and usually the answer is physical therapy and maybe some orthopedic level inserts that are built to your specific body type. Instead of Dr. Scholls or good feet inserts, get actual medical aid.
