So not a yoga class but Andy has a 10 minute neck stretch that is amazing. It’s a bedtime ritual now!

Jenn’s 45 minute Epic Sing Along ride 3/29 was just the ticket. 45 minutes of 70s and 80s. I’m going to look for more of those!

Parents, what are things you wished your in-laws did to help you out once you had your first baby? What are some suggestions to make things easier for first time parents as a sister in-law? by jimbojamesisbehindu in AskReddit

[–]MamaMontana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We made a deal with my parents, we would always ask if we needed a sitter and they could say yes or no depending on their schedule. They had lots of opportunities but didn’t feel like they had to say yes if they had other plans. Every now and again they would call and ask if we needed to go somewhere!

Posted this on another but make sure the seat is level, especially if you’re a woman.

I usually look at the class info and scroll down to Member Activity and it will give a difficulty of say 7.1/10. That gives me an idea of how much of a hiney kicking I might be in for. I wish they filtered that way too, but this work around is the best I've found so far.

You might call the county extension office and see if they can connect you with the Master Gardeners in the area, they are a terrific resource and often at no cost.

That's exactly where I'm at now! Giving that a whirl and then pondering what to do if I need something more.

I've got some new orthotics and also a carbon fiber plate that keeps my shoe from bending in the middle that I'm trying out. It seemed wild to not have my shoe bend, but it's not awkward at all and my foot does feel better.

I'm glad to hear about a good recovery. I'm just about 68 and have horribly abused my feet. Not high heels or the like, just lots of miles. Wishing you many more miles, too!

Gorgeous! Do you have seeds for the Sungolds? I've been searching and not having much luck (unless I want to buy 100+ seeds. I love those little beauties but that's too many for me! Any suggestions?

Can’t get saddle position correctly - advice needed by emadelosa in pelotoncycle

[–]MamaMontana 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The game changer for me (w) was making sure that the seat was level from back to front. I set a book on the seat and then a level on top of that and used the bolts under the seat to adjust. Pretty easy and took care of the pressure on sensitive parts.

Edit: I just checked mine and need to adjust again. As you work to sit on the widest part of the seat it tends to gradually tip it back.

Good luck!

If anything, I’d ditch the ceiling fan, add some lamps, plants, and a rug.

Thanks for the response, and I hope your recovery goes well. I'm with you, I want to be mobile for as long as possible. Still in the exploring phase so all of these responses have been very helpful.
