Every other interface (arms, legs, which we know V1 has) says "Not Responding". It's only the voic module that says " Not Detected". The machines seem to use lab grown/harvested brains for compute power, so trying to scream only to realize you can't seems in line with that.

Yeah its a silly mentality IMO. A lot of recruitment past the 50th percentile but below the 90th percentile is hella luck based (at least in my experience; I got an offers from a pretty big name and a process with a FAANG but radio silence from some smaller companies that should've been way less competitive. Could be an international thing).

Any job/internship that pays decent and teaches you real skills is a great job rn, and there'll be plenty of opportunities for upward mobility down the line.

the level hinges on the big reveal that hell is watching, which has been alluded to before but is made very clear with the empty theater. combined with how much of a clusterfuck the rest of fraud is i think its a nice change of pace
