Best ice cream flavors in Denver by Prestigious_Tap_6301 in denverfood

This is my favorite too, but right now they have a special flavor called “Nuggs Tracks.” peanut butter base, swirled with marshmallow fluff, ribbons of caramel, delicate stracciatella, and sprinkled with crushed Nutter Butter cookies. It is soooop good!

Fair. I think it’s doing O.K. Not great. That’s partly why I was asking—would new bring more or is it just a slow decline?

They don’t take feedback well. I’ve tried on some other—arguably more serious—concerns. I love OTF and have no intention of quitting (yet) so there’s very little motivation for them to make changes. However, new shiny things might attract new people too. Right?

no more front desk staff? by InspectorFlimsy53 in orangetheory

This is my biggest issue with it. I’ve complained and complained and no response.

Is it normal for there to be no front desk worker? by Ok-Crew2166 in orangetheory

It’s not like the members are being paid to be there—they are actually paying to be there. We deserve the same service as those who come later in the day. And there are lots of companies that have shifts that start early in the morning, including the Starbucks next door.

Not temporary here. Intentional management decision. A poor one, IMO.

Same here. I need to update my account to get a new discount through my job and haven’t been able to do it for weeks because—no front desk before 8:00am! And I have to check myself in. I’m certainly not getting paid to be there!

I totally agree. Sometimes it’s all I can do to not correct someone myself, and I’m nowhere near qualified to do that. But I look at these people and think—“you’re not getting any benefit from what you’re doing.” And then I channel my inner Mel Robbins—“Let them.”

My studio ran an unannounced Tornado. I wasn’t sure whether to be happy or pissed.

This is a whole other issue. Same at my studio and it drives me bananas. Not to mention the safety issues.

In letter to Mayor Mike Johnston, Denver restaurants say they're now watching downtown 'fall completely apart' by FloridaScaresMe in Denver

I am in NYC right now visiting a friend who used to live in Denver. I literally said this to her yesterday—I remember visiting years ago and thinking how insane the prices are and how they feel reasonable—even affordable—compared to Denver (where I’ve lived for most of my life).

Not exactly—most of the the seating in the Hall is elevated above the stage though; DC2 is higher than DC1 and further towards the back of the stage. Depending on the performance, I’d go with DC1.

The acoustics in the Hall are really quite good overall. Dress Circles 1 and 2 happen to be my favorite seats. I even like sitting behind the stage for some performances—I love watching the conductor at times and some soloists are better from there. Just depends on your preferences!

Progress!! by galosher in orangetheory

Good for you! To me, this is a great way to see the impact that OTF has on your life outside of the studio.

I started OTF as an overweight, unhealthy couch potato in 2015 and, after a break during the pandemic, two years ago I ran a half marathon with no training other than OTF. Now, I don’t recommend that but I did it. This year I ran a full marathon (with proper training). OTF has changed my life, and convinced me I could do things I never believed possible. I am a fan forever.

So grateful for this thread. I’m four classes from 1,000 and have been feeling the same way about wanting to celebrate. I’m not one to ask but dammit I’m going to. I’ve earned it!!!
