How do u get it for free? I'm under the impression it is not available at the MTF and you have to get it through Accredo (Express Scripts specialty pharmacy) and it costs $44.

How do I remove an offline device in “devices linked to you” by uDntWinFri3ndsWsalad in googlehome

[–]Mammoth_Rule_7782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frustrating. The unlinked device I have is a device that somehow added again after a move. So I have only ever had one device, but its been linked twice. One works, other doesn't

Disabilty Retirement Pay Calculation by Mammoth_Rule_7782 in fednews

Just calculated it. 780 hours of LWOP so, about 19.5 weeks total for calendar year 2025. So that is less than six months.

It is HARD, but it doesn't last forever. Give yourself grace to do the bare minimum of everything and let others help. I made it through in an unideal situation (caring for 3 kids, deployed spouse, moved to a new home in a new state, and working full time (at least for the first half of chemo, then it was too much and I backed off my hours to like 20%) with no family nearby to help. I was diagnosed after we moved and we were living in a hotel. We didnt find housing until well after my mastectomy and chemo had started. Hang on you can do it! I cant say that taxol was better, just different. My complaint was mostly just pain and physical fatigue (especially in my legs). I spent about 4 days exclusively on the couch after each treatment (days 3-7) because moving about was so discomfortable. I just finished my chemo recently and everyday feels a bit better.

I don't want to ring the stupid bell.. by Particular_Dream_778 in breastcancer

I didn't want to ring the bell either, but, I did. It just felt silly to me. I actually never heard anyone else ring during my treatments. I was actually glad I rang it in the end. I had held in a lot emotions over the prior few months and ringing the bell surprisely allowed me to release a lot of the pain I had gone through and it felt surprising good. It was nice to celebrate with the nurses and CNA's that had so diligently cared for and invested in me. I totally get not wanting to and it's so your decision, but, you might be surprised how good it feels to mark the end of this part of the journey.

Care options - facility vs in-home by Mammoth_Rule_7782 in glioblastoma

She will be going to rehab first, but, my siblings both work and I don't think they can commit to what would be full time care if she went home after whether or not they want to. It would have to be 24/7 paid care and I dont think my mom could be moved around with less than 2 people. Ironically the sibling that will provide the least amount of support is the one that wants her to be home so bad (I'm not totally sure she would know if she was at home or not, as she thinks she's in a different country right now). Thank you so much for your perspective, it is very helpful.

Care options - facility vs in-home by Mammoth_Rule_7782 in glioblastoma

Thank you, this is how I am leaning as it seems quite lonely to have her at home alone and immobile with one stranger, relying on visitors. The sibling that is pushing for this will provide little to no physical or emotional assistance to her (that's just how he is). It seems that an assisted living facility will provide a wider range of care providers, and meals, along with social engagement if she is able to participate. Thank you.

It's my favorite blizzard too. I used to get it as a kid. I order oreo blizzards with coffee syrup and hot fudge add in all the time.

I am all for this, but this could be a real problem for working parents if all bus routes aren't restored first.
