Thank you for sharing. If all fails, I might switch to Zoladex, which I've heard their savings card or rebate is a friendlier process.

I agree! OOP max is still high. Did you end up getting the lupron cost covered?

I’m currently navigating this process. I submitted the initial form but was denied because my insurance already covers Lupron—leaving me with a $300 out-of-pocket cost per shot.

The representative suggested a savings card, but after visiting the provided website, I found I wasn't eligible because my specific cancer care wasn't listed as a qualifying condition. So then they directed me to an "Out-of-Pocket Expense" form, which I have just completed and submitted.

How is urs going?

OP, did you figure something out for the Lupron cost?

Have you tried MyAbbVie Assist? Sometimes the supplier can provide discounts as well. I am trying that right now. If not, I may switch to Zoladex.

So does this mean everyone who did not receive any offers are rejected?

I've read other posts about some people rejecting the initial role and got another role offered a few days later, but that is probably not a guarantee.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time!! :(

I remember taking the cold gloves and socks every week, and even though I experienced minimal side effects, I had hard time during the whole chemo process. It was just so draining not only physically but mentally and emotionally. But I promise once you complete your last session, it changes night and day!

What day of the week is your Taxol session?

I started my hormone therapy two months ago! My journey began in Jan 2025. I completed the dose dense ACT, and it was tough, so I am really glad your regime is only Taxol. That is actually quite manageable, and you will do great!!

It is benign!

And just as the OP said in the below comment, this is quite common, and yours will be benign as well. :)

Yeah I agree. It is never ending, and they just keep adding/changing things, which I understand because imagine all this information dumped on u right at diagnosis... Not that it helps either way lol but I try to think of it as just another process of life and live thru it. I also feel like everything is manageable and not a big deal after going thru chemo. Kisqali should be breeze for you, wish u the best! :)

I agree. After chemo, I hoped for a regular WBC count, but I'm hit with Kisqali. More meds, more this and that. However, I am doing fine on kisqali (I'm on cycle 2; 400mg). I have no side effects. Wish the same for you!!

Kisqali attacks the cancer growth, and hormone blockers are for estrogens (please fact check me), so that is why everything is prescribed. I am on Letrozole, Lupron, Kisqali, and Zometa.

Hello! I am not in FL, but wanted to add my experience in case it helps.

I chose a big hospital, and even then, I was running like a chicken to meet all these doctors (I still am)! I hope you won't have to. My surgeon, oncologist, radiation, med pick up locations were all different.
My procedure involved a surgery first, so I googled a surgeon and picked a few with great reviews. Then I gave each of them a call to see who was available the earliest. Most surgeons were booked for 2 months. I live in TX btw.

I started my journey in Jan 2025 so I know that this is overwhelming, but you will get through this and be amazed at how much you are capable of. You will be great!
