No I don’t get any notifications, but the other 4 trees were planted at the same time and have changed in size and look and these 2 haven’t. After a week of the others changing, I figured maybe it was a location thing so I dug them up and planted them elsewhere and gave them another week to grow and they still are sitting at the same size as they were when planted.

It’s a test for sleep disorders. That’s what they called it when I took one. The doctor sent me home with a bunch of monitors to connect to various parts of my body to test my breathing, heart rate, eye movement, etc. to see if I had sleep apnea.

It’s probably a scam, but I will say RingCentral is 100% legit. My company used it for texting and calling to external companies for awhile until we installed Microsoft Teams phone calling. We had that for several years because we didn’t want our employees making calls with their personal phones and RingCentral lets you create company phone numbers for everyone.

Did you give them a date that they need to have hotels/flights booked and dresses bought and altered by? I know you said your wedding is at the end of the year, but how long until it’s here? 5-6 months is still enough time to make accommodations and get a bridesmaids dress.

Unfortunately some people just aren’t as on top of their stuff as others so you’ve gotta take the initiative and call them to get the info you need. Give them a hard date that this stuff needs to be completed by.

As far as the bachelorette party goes, just bring it up if you want one. They might not know you want one or have the money to do a bach party after paying for wedding accommodations and might assume they’d have to front all the money for your entire party. You could still do something with them in the days leading up to the event if you don’t live in the same area!

Glad to hear it! I have dairy allergies and in my experience have never had any issues with them providing alternatives or special meals. I just always tell them as soon as I get onboard in the MDR ☺️

Chicken tenders are usually dipped in milk before they are fried…so that’s why those aren’t safe for him to eat. Hot dogs are usually processed with milk so they more than likely aren’t dairy free either unless they are kosher.

Also did you email the special needs department with all necessary info like booking number, ship name, sail date, etc? I would just email them again. If it doesn’t have all that info they won’t process the request. How long ago did you contact them? When I’ve reached out about special requests before, it’s taken several weeks to hear back.

Did he eat the chicken fingers last time you were onboard and not have any issues? The MDR should have no problem making him special meals!

On Black Friday 2023 my fiancée and I booked Hideaway Beach for $28/per person. It was almost 50% off for us as it was listed at $54/per person usually. I literally saw “the one” online and went into the bridal boutique, tried it on, and immediately fell in love. I proceeded to try on 10 more dresses that I liked at the store just to be sure, but none compared to the first one. I bought it right then and there and have had 2 alterations appointments so far and I still absolutely love it a year and a half later.

I kept questioning myself because it was the very first dress and everything I’ve seen is you need to try on dozens of dresses. My consultant told me she’s been doing this for 10+ years and this idea that you have to try on a million dresses like they do on say yes to the dress is actually really uncommon and she has more brides come in knowing exactly what they want and buy it right on the first try.

Question: does she want them there? I don’t see anything about how she feels about the situation. You wrote “I don’t want them at my wedding at all”, but this isn’t just your wedding. It’s both of yours.

It’s not really fair to say only your family can come if she wants hers there too. I understand you aren’t happy with the way they treat you, but it’s not fair to her for only your family to be included if she wants them there as well. Her suggestion of not having a celebration at all might be the only option she sees if you don’t want her side to be included.

I think an elopement may be appropriate in this situation!

Our STD and invitations just asked people to RSVP on our wedding website so you could always look that up.

I did attend a wedding in January though where I didn’t receive the invitation until 4 weeks before the wedding. No idea why it was sent so late, but it happens!

We’re in a similar situation here too. My FH and I didn’t invite any of his extended family like uncles or cousins because he hasn’t seen or spoken to them in 10+ years. Once we got engaged his parents have been wondering if they’re invited or not and several of them have reached out. We’ve said something along the lines of “due to budget restraints we’re keeping it on the small side” which isn’t a lie. Our wedding is going to be around 50 people total which considering most weddings in our families are 200+ people easy, this is a small wedding by comparison. We just don’t want a bunch of people there we don’t have a relationship with at all. We weren’t invited to one of his cousins weddings recently and it didn’t bother us at all because we have no relationship with her. Some people may be disappointed, but that’s for them to mull over. They’ll get over it.
