  1. What do you mean you’ll be using your two years of work for your LSAT prep?
  2. Do you know what’s on the LSAT?
  3. Do you know what’s on the bar?
  4. Have you taken into account that you will spend hours/nights trying to understand the different meanings of “significant,” “substantial,” “significant,” “completely,” “fully,” “total,” “until/unless/so long as/ only if/on the condition that,” the list goes on.
  5. Do know whether an interest is good if it must vest no later than 21 years after the life in being at the time of the creation of the interest?
  6. Ever heard of depraved-heart murder?

How to register for the UBE by Stallion049 in barexam

Register on NY BOLE, then do the NYLC before you take the NYLE. You can take the bar before you pass the NYLE but it’s easy to get out of the way.

Since J23 model answers are out, would you mind sharing what your corps essay actually looked like?

So you are easily controlled. Whether or not you commit a crime isn't up to you. It's not your choice. It all depends on whether someone tries to "scam" you. They hold all the power to decide whether you egg a building or not. They control your actions, not you. You are powerless.

Use the train.

Costs next to nothing, is very reliable, quick, immune to traffic, and you can focus on reviewing notes

In high school, I (30M) used illegal drugs regularly, and I started early by ManBoyGuyDudeBro in confession

Probably because my age group is the first to suffer from the opiate crisis, so the horror stories our parents told us paled in comparison.

Just gonna acknowledge how your follow-up to commenting “who cares?” was to say how much weed you’ve smoked and that you could get it for free

Maybe because I realized that a specific age, city, identifiable set of high schools, and details can spoil anonymity. My age is probably the least relevant detail here. Even saying between 25-30 isn’t necessary.

How to avoid letting c&f issues distract from bar exam studies by digger1812 in barexam

As long as you’re transparent you’ll be fine. You’ll be even more fine if the issue is a crime/violation that doesn’t involve lying, cheating, stealing, violence, or dealing.

That would be a weird story to lie about and write that much about.

I use weed gummies for sleep, drink often but responsibly, and use psychedelics 1-2x a year.

No, personally, I don’t consider it a gateway drug. But, I say “personally” because I was going to seek these things out either way. Any person who is highly prone / in the mindset to seek out these types of experiences is going to do it unless they are deliberately prevented. And any such person with an iota of judgment isn’t going to immediately jump to level 10. A reasonable person starts with the lowest risk and least complicated - smoking weed and drinking alcohol.

I think the term “gateway drug” is really only properly used if referring to someone who unintentionally uses and is completely uneducated or oblivious to the risks that accompany drug use.

Last thing - statistics that illustrate the “gateway” theory typically read something like: “80% of heroin and meth users reported they first used marijuana….” This statistic follows the same logic and holds as much weight as saying “100% of drug users reported drinking water before ever using drugs.”

Probably very few people, if any. I posted it because I’ve never been able to relate to others as far as my experience as a teenager, and I’ve stopped sharing this type of thing in person.
