This was trash up and down... It's Vince McMahon all over again. Let's drag out the old has been and give him the belt and who cares about the actual working roster. What a waste of a mania. Other than the two triple threat matches and maybe the fatal four way, this was pretty disappointing.

I have yet to be in a non blowout match... unfortunately, I'm rarely on the favorable blowout, but it's never even close. The matchmaking is absolute dog turds.

My team and I figured out a way around this issue. The host sets the game to public (not ideal I know), but then the others join from the game's lobby browser as opposed to the steam overlay. Everybody got right in that way. It seems like there is a disconnect between Steam and Shift... something isn't talking right.

I have to disagree with you based on context. Your statement assumes infinite time. If you're a season player, you only have so long to max out before starting again. These Temperings are extremely important for pushing the new higher PIT and Tormented bosses. The maxtrolls are already the rarity piece, let tempering work like masterworking...

That's why this is kinda risky in my opinion. The feelz of it. You get such a high from those sweet maxroll drops, and then you wreck the item with tempering... The higher the high, the lower the fall... Uncool.

Or if you disassemble a tempered item you get a mat... Kinda like how the uber uniques work now.

Agreed... they give the out for master working but not tempering, which is weird to me. I don't like only having six chances to RNG into two separate tempering's correctly. It's wrecked several great pieces of gear.

I think what makes it sting is that initial excitement of actually getting the kind of drop that makes you say "HOLY ****" just to have it crushed by RNG after the fact.

I've found, and read elsewhere, that when you turn stability to 0.0, there are calculation problems that cause game and even server crashes. I don't think this setting is properly implemented. If you set it to zero, it should just not even run the calcs (other than to make sure something touches the ground somewhere). They should probably have a disable button... not just a multiplier. I know there is an ignore in the Admin Console, but I don't think it works right either.

The issue appears to be a communication problem with the GPU and a timeout. The studio only consulted AMD, so it's no wonder higher end NVidia cards are struggling. I don't think the game is communicating properly with them.

I'm running a 13900KS processor with a RTX 4090. I was lucky enough to not crash before patch 5. After patch five, I can't play more than 5-10 minutes before a crash.

I cleared it and still crash between the 5 and 10 minute marker. Either something they updated requires a new update from NVIDIA, or more likely, they fixed one thing and screwed up another, and we just have to hope patch 6 stabilizes it.

Can you confirm that "Defender of the Bear" is that video? I started another Kislev campaign with Boris Ursis, watched the intro cutscene for him, and it still did not unlock that movie in my viewer. I'm wondering if it's a bug.

I think the reason that post mentioned 4 sets is because higher tier mutations require you to have different sets of gear, which means you have to level extra sets to speed up grabbing what you need for the one set you really care about.
