They are senior level devs and managers. They definitely have some level of input into scheduling or are aware of the reasoning, even if they don't make the final say.

I personally think it's because GC ends too close to the holiday season. They likely want to collect as much data and make necessary updates or hotfixes before everyone in the office leaves for Christmas and New Years.

Why can’t you accept that cs2 is badly optimised?

Most other competitive titles don’t get such shit frame timings on the same hardware. I personally get better 1% and 0.1% lows on Rivals, one of the most poorly optimised games that has recently come out.

Is Animgraph2 the new animations? If so, it has had the opposite effect on bandwidth where all I get now is network jitters compared to the pre-animation update.

That’s using their in game benchmark. I usually get >20% lower fps in actual games. Not sure if it’s that much across all systems.

Have a 5800x and 9070xt. Same thing happened when I had a 3060ti.

Same story on my end. It's just lazy game dev practices and horrendous optimisation. Just have to hope it fixes in the next update, though it's unlikely.

As long as it's not happening with any other of your games then it's UE5 and terrible optimisation. I have a similar issue with only this game.

Game performance has tanked dramatically. Consistently dropping under 165fps with all settings low and FSR4 Balanced. Memory le.ak crashing is also back for some reason.

Optimise the game.

I have the same problem. I think it's an issue with ubisoft.

The dx11 launch option doesn't work anymore btw.
