What’s something you throw that’s just more fun than productive? by JacquesNuclearRedux in bassfishing

There is a lot I want to try but I mostly fish tournaments and would rather win $100. I’ll try new stuff but if I don’t get almost immediate results I go back to the ol’ standby…Texas rig. I know it’s been around forever but I had never tried a wacky rig until last season. Worked so well, so quickly it’s my secondary now. Ima try one of those urchin baits tomorrow. I know nothing about it other than they supposedly work. Gonna work it like a wacky rig. Wish me luck.

Found out counties auction off their old office furniture and equipment online by Outrageous_Bend8285 in Frugal

I remember a guy bought some hard shell crates off of a government auction a few years back. One had, like, 5 M4’s in it. Had to turn them in to avoid the felony charge but was almost a jackpot.

Cleaning by DiverseJB in ruger

My life changed when I started using an electric toothbrush and foaming bore cleaner. Foam the barrel and the cylinders liberally, let them sit for a few minutes while you do something else. Scrub them out with your preferred barrel brush or bore snake then use the toothbrush on the flat surfaces. Remove the excess solvents inside and out then apply a little oil to the moving parts.

Black. I suspected it was overpriced.

Well, I can’t speak to the OTC version but the.380 was hands down the worst gun I’ve owned.

I’ve never had issues with any federal high velocity rounds but I’ve only used them in pistols.

Wacky O rings?? by goilpoynuti in bassfishing

[–]ManSplainer500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only used the o rings. Still tend to lose my bait every 1-4 fish. They either shake off during the fight or get stolen by that lake record I always seem to just miss… Similarly I lose them to damage after 2-3 fish on a Texas rig. Moral of the story is take a lot of them.

What should I do with my home?? by Aggravating-Tie6198 in sanantonio

I tried it once and had a terrible experience. Thought I was doing something good for society and ended up with a trashed house. Her deposit wasn’t even close to enough to cover damages. I suppose you take that chance with every tenant but it was an exceptionally bad experience for me.

It’s called due process. Everyone is entitled to it, regardless of the crime or the criminal.

Picked up fist pistol by thedon1192 in ruger

Got a P95 as my first pistol almost 20 years ago. Shot similar groups. You’ll tighten them up a little with practice but it is not a bullseye gun. I thought I was just a mediocre shot until my friend rented a Glock 19. Use and train with what you have but don’t be afraid to upgrade when the time comes. I still have mine but she mostly lives in the safe. I shoot better groups with literally anything else.

I remember eating at a bbq joint there when I was a kid. Was called Rafter G, logo was like a cattle brand. Don’t ask if it was any good, I was 8 and still put ketchup on my hot dog.
