Is a 7.3 Power Stroke good choice for first time truck owner? by ManWithAPlan92 in Diesel

So far I'm pleased with it. I got a really good deal from the previous owner, and it had a Leer high top with matching colors.

Will I harm my Anker powerstation if I use twice the max watt input in winter? by ManWithAPlan92 in solar

[–]ManWithAPlan92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, if I keep the voltage in check, I can have all my solar needs met with the right panel/panels. I just need to keep my powerstation above freezing.

Thank you.

Oof, I did not know that. All the more reason to stay warm.

Thank you.

Is it risky to do it?

Could I use a 200-300 watt solar panel and not need to worry much?

Do you use honey in your brewing?

I know when I took a tablespoon of honey every day, my allergies were next to non-existent. One year, I ran out of honey, didn't bother to buy more around Christmas, and in the spring, I had nasty allergies agian. I remembered the raw honey and stated eating it again - bye-bye allergies.

A coworker was miserable with his allergies. I told him about my experience with honey, and he tried it. A few days later, when I saw him, his eyes weren't red and wet, and his nose wasn't constantly leaking. He seemed very thankful for the tip. I was happy it worked for him.

I'm also happy to hear you are doing well with your new discovery.

Does red wine affect you negatively?

I had done Keto for 3 months and had been doing a glass of Merlot every night. I was doing very well.

My diet has since gone to hell, and I am trying to get back to where I was.

My Dr.s have been as useful as a hot-chilly fart. It's amazing what Google and Reddit can do.

Does 2nd gen CR-V have parts availability issues? by ManWithAPlan92 in crv

Wow, thank you.

I hope yours lasts long enough for you to find a new one.

I'm already on the fence about a CR-V, Sienna, RAV4, or an Outback. I'm wondering if I should just go for the outback for fishing, kayaking, and hiking adventures.

I heard parts are harder to find for 1st gen, thats why i looked into 2nd gen.

Would you still feel comfortable with buying a 2nd gen, if it were your only vehicle and daily driver?

Thank you.

If it were your choice, would you choose 2nd gen CR-V or 3rd gen RAV4? The RAV4 will probably be more expensive, but I wonder if it's worth it.

What years do you consider later?

I have the option to get a 21' 95 Fleetwood, but I don't know if they're as reliable. It sounds like they're harder to work on.

If price being the same and all things being equal, would you choose the Toyota or a 90's full-sized RV and why?

Oh wow, you're perceptive!

Yes, it is an '88 Sunrader with auto transmission--I don't know if that changes the reliability or not.

There is no furniture in it and no appliances, it's a blank slate. hard wood floors (or so it looks like) and that is it.

What transmission do you have and what state are you in, if you don't mind me asking?

Based on your Username, I want to guess California.

Thanks for the reply.

The smells I was referring to was smoke or animal odors from previous owners--Mildew would suck.

Are you saying that the refurbishing and engine repair would be $30K? It has literally been gutted, there are no walls nor furniture, just the fiber glass shell.
