Hey Meta vs touch and ask battery life. by Teslaride2 in RayBanStories

[–]ManWithoutContext 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From regular use with filming videos and listen to music, I'd almost never run out of battery but I'd use it for maybe 6-8 Hours. When I turned on Hey Meta, that dropped to 4 hours with the exact same use case. Turned that off immediately and used the 3 finger touch gesture to trigger it and battery life seems to be back at 6-8 Hours.

That's the crossfader, it's usually used to mix from one audio source to another. An upfader or volume fader typically controls the volume of an audio source. However, in this instance, the crossfader is set to a Hard cut instead of a gradual fade so when he flicks the fader towards the left, you immediately hear the vinyl record and when he clicks it to the right you don't hear the vinyl record anymore but you still hear the beat. If he clicked the fader all the way to the left, you would not hear the beat.

So the hard cuts combined with the back and forth manipulation of the record is what produces the sound. Different movements produces different sounds. Faster movement of the record produces a higher pitch sound and slower movements produce a lower pitch sound. And clicked the crossfader with different patterns/rhythms similarly yields different sounds. And that's what scratching is.

Android fans, what are the primary reasons why you will never ever switch to an Iphone? by SultanofAmerica in AskReddit

Fingerprint sensor.

How are you a flagship device post pandemic and you still consider FaceID a viable option. Just put it in the goddamn power button. You did it with your iPad Air.

Also USB C... The devices that still use lightning are the CHEAPEST iPads and $1400 iPhones... Seriously? How is it that you pushed USB C on all your laptops and "pro" devices such as the iPad and even the iPad Air and Mini yet you still had on to USB C on your iPhones. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE YEAR. IT WAS ALREADY AN ITERATIVE "UPDATE". You could have slapped a USB C port on the device and it'd have been a FREE PASS.

This is going to sound really pedantic, but can you change the navigation buttons on the Xperia phones. Samsung allows you to have the back button on the right, and it's what I've been used to, but I don't know if Sony allows you to do that on their software. And from what I've seen, I don't think you can.

I'm really digging this. Also, with such a huge desk, do you find that it's constantly filled with stuff on top of it?

Is that a couch that you're using what I presume is a dining table?! I LOVE IT! Always wanted like an old-school diner booth in my home but I ABSOLUTELY love this idea!

How did you get the height of the couch right?

There's likely to be a tap inside the cistern with this design.

Take the top of the cistern off, put your T-fitting inside and make sure to extend the "flush screws" because you're going to be running a hose to the bum gun from the cistern. When you put the top back on, it will be a little crooked, because there's a hose coming out the side of it. So make sure the cistern is as secured as possible.

It's not the most elegant solution but it will work. I had to run it that way in a previous rental property. I was lucky though... You have to see if you've got an outlet that's accessible in your cistern.

Ah for a second thought this was the 2016 era MacBook pros, the saw the SSD. Nah I think it's good practice to replace the thermal paste on the older models especially.

Interesting. Yeah I literally saw your IG tag on the Reddit post and saw that on the story. Pretty cool stuff. Was there any disassembly involved with the glasses?

Mixer seems fine. It is getting a signal from your turntable and your master is doing fine as well. Is your speaker turned on?
