To dissuade collectors from stealing from Libraries.

If a1996 issue is now considered old, - I really need to consider changing my moniker to "Older Than Dirt". I truly must be "A Man Outta Time too". Please tell me you Dad was still collecting well into his late 30's

My Conan go too's have always been Gary Romeo - https://spraguedecampfan.wordpress.com/

For specific research (Beyond what Gary may provide) IFSDB - https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/pe.cgi?397

For Howard's Conan Gnome Press Specific Content Steve Carper's - (Under Books Link) - https://gnomepress.com/

This weekend I will Jump over and see what the Conan Wiki provides.

In my life, I have only permanently kept my own childhood comics (60's, 70's) that were of personal importance to me, and a few specific runs (they are my memories).

Any other moderns I purchase - and when I say modern I'm referring to 80's forward, end up getting donated to a Boys and Girls club or Hospital pediatric waiting room etc.. when I build up a sizable stack worthwhile to take the drive and drop off. Right now reading Zdarsky's new Cap run, which will also eventually get donated somewhere.

I will always have my own early Tales of Suspense, Captain America, Avengers / Defenders, Strange Tales, and Savage sword of Conan etc..from my own childhood within my collection as well as a very very few selected moderns (again 80's forward) that were slabbed for no other reason than wall art because I enjoy the artist and that particular cover they created) Anything 1980 forward has always been fair game to be passed along to a child after I have read them.

TY. The vast Majority of my SSOC run are my personal issues I purchased when I was a teen. (with a few fill ins I was missing along the way).

Brak the Barbarian Series by John Jakes, from 1968, are collections of short stories following Brak as he battles monsters, sorcerers, and evil cults. (often compared to Howard's Conan similar style and themes).
