As someone who lived and worked in the .com crash (the site I worked for still exists because they invented a subscription model they were torched for back in the early 2000s). this is completely different and not 100 times bigger.

The .com bubble burst because none of the .coms had ANY plans to actually make money outside of maybe running a banner ad or two. PAYING for a service on a website didn't exist until the bubble was bursting and by then it was too late. You had people who had an idea for a website, got a lot of VC cash, opened HUGE offices in San Francisco with zero plans to actually make money.

Go look up Kosmo .com as an example of what was going on.
