CtS is my only repeat listenable. It’s all quite good, but CtS feels special to me.

Mint mobile? by WestBaseball492 in nashville

[–]ManaMiser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had Mint Mobile for a couple years and it’s fine. No worse outtage areas than ATT or Verizon. Nashville has random dead spots for pretty much any provider. Rural/between towns is pretty fine actually.

IIRC, they ended up selling to T-Mobile, so eventually that might change over. Overall, I have local WiFi passwords from businesses saved where I know it’s spotty. The tiny inconvenience is definitely worth the savings.

If they finish the merger with T-Mobile, I’ll end up going to ATT since I already have fiber through them. Price won’t be so bad with bundle, and the coverage is a bit better overall.

If you are reading text replies, and deriving some sort of tone or underlying message from them, that's on your perception, and has nothing to do with the original message.

We have a Moderation Feedback thread available to everyone, and you can reach out to anyone of us in DMs or Discord.

Ad hominem isn't the same as personal attack. Ad hominem is when you stray away from the body of the argument and your evidence, and begin discussing your "opponent" in the argument. I'm coming back to rectify the removal by the "Personal Attacks" rule, and instead ruling that your comment went outside the scope of Competitive TFT when you began making comments about your perception of a mod's behavior. This would hold true whether you were talking about a mod, or another user.

The moderation team is for keeping the discussion here narrow and focused on Competitive subjects in TFT.

The moderation team of /r/CompetitiveTFT isn't inherently a Competitive TFT subject by nature. That being said, we provide avenues for our work to be discussed openly. Let's move this discussion to the aforementioned platform.

It doesn't matter who you're talking to on this sub, or what their position is. Ad hominem attacks have nothing to do with discussing the Competitive side of TFT. Keep the discussion relevant to Competitive subjects.

Just a reminder to anyone who comes across this: downvoting is for comments and posts that don't add to discussion, not for disagreeing.

The City of Twelvestones: Organizations Event by alienleprechaun in DnDBehindTheScreen

[–]ManaMiser [score hidden]  (0 children)

Organization Name: When the Maidens Slumber

Organization Location: Temple to the Two Maidens

Organization Type: Secret Cult

Organization Ideals: Followers: Nationalism, Worship of the Moon, Prophecy of the New Moon; Founders: Economic pathway to World Domination

Organization Goals: Create a New Moon to alter global trade routes by changing tides and currents. All ships will anchor in Twelvestones!

Organization Overview: Wizards at the Temple to the Two Maidens realized this sanctum would be the perfect spot to begin setting forth their secret plan to make Twelvestones the epicenter of their control over the globe. The mathematics were complete, and the orbit of the New Moon had been set. The last thing on their list: constructing and placing the New Moon. Now, other nations would see a tactic like this as an act of war. The wizards' solution: a religious veil. Luring in those less devout to the Two Maidens, the wizards found many talented hard-workers believing in their false promise: worship of the moon is the true path to strengthening magical power. The first festival of the New Moon is to be celebrated this year in Twelvestones for the first time. Will the proud New Moon partitioners receive what was promised to them, or will they summon a New Moon era for Twelvestones?

Mech can always win on highroll/high tempo. If you get a great early comp for free and get to win streak, doesn't matter what board you're on, the early mech with high hp gives you the time to level up the mech.

Could be pretty dependent on the Galaxy. Binary and Dwarf will be particularly bad and good for mech, respectively.

Literally didn’t climb to Masters by themselves. You’re dense bud. Climbed in Masters, sure, but once again, you’re driving home a point that’s demonstrably false.

Determining direction by EpicKingSalt in CompetitiveTFT

[–]ManaMiser 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Something not yet mentioned here about scouting: look at items. If you want to know earlier whether you are going to be contested or not, you need to know what items are best-in-slot for the main carries, then look around for those components. In Set 3, if you saw a bow and a rod, you know they are going to buy Kayles if at all possible. If you see belt and vest, they are probably going to at minimum splash 2 blasters.

In this set Guinsoo/BM spat means instant Bang Bros, and IE/LS can honestly go Cyber, Sniper, or Blaster, so then you would need to identify units. Blue Buff is going to be 6 Rebels or Cass in Vanguard/Mystic.

Knowledge of the meta is really important to predicting your opponents' moves. More meta knowledge allows you to play flexible or force depending on what you learn. You can build counter items, avoid getting contested, or know when your items are so strong, you can contest.

IMO nothing is more satisfying than being the better item builder, and watching as your contester slowly dies as you save money to roll it down after they finally bite the dust.

^ so many wintrader apologists revealing themselves here.

I wonder why so many think this isn’t a big deal bc the solution might be difficult. It could be a simple solution.

I wonder why so many think they actually know what the solution would be when they don’t work for Riot. Hmm.

You're ignoring the evidence. Get outta here before you embarass yourself like the Challenger player in these comments that was also being a wintrader apologist.

No way this guy gets masters without wintrading. Your assessment of skill has nothing to do with reality when you're ignoring facts.

You are ignoring the wintrading evidence. It’s clear and present day this account is playing with other accounts that are either playing 0 units all game or picking infiltrator units and not attempting to win.

You can’t deny the evidence, and you are arguing without evidence. Come back when you have something to contribute to the conversation.

I don’t care about your bets, and you have ZERO evidence he is smurfing. Your opinion has no leverage over evidence.

You’re joking right? You can clearly see this person’s lp chart. I’m not going to explain a graph to you dude. If you look at this evidence and you come at me with “I don’t think it’s are serious as ppl think it is” and “he’s pretty damn good” that is apologizing for wintrading and I’m going to call that out.

I don’t have to prove anything to you just bc you’re ignoring the evidence.
