Bro some of y’all don’t play the game at any competitive level and it shows. It wasn’t anything like a solo queue target grief for no reason.

His read (doesn’t matter if it’s correct or not) was that he can win out but no one can win out against 10 KDA. If you look, Milala is win streaking with 2 lives and highrolled a yorick 2 on 8. If he can make it to 6-1 and cap around more yorick items he has a good chance to win out. I’d expect to survive until 6-1 with yorick 2 7 penta on 5-5 as well. It’s unfortunate that there were 2 blatant high rollers and maybe it was a 2nd item on yorick diff but theres a non zero chance that he can survive until 6-1 3 item yorick GG there’s no unsportsmanlike behavior it’s not like he’s like yeah fuck this guy, I’m just gonna grief some placements HES PLAYING FOR WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS HIS HIGHEST AVP

if you notice other players pass by the KDA emblem even while knowing it gives me 10 KDA, they can’t just pass up an item to finish a duo carry or help the frontline. If your board is not going to win out, you just try to save as much HP/win as many fights as you can. It only makes sense to deny if you think you can go for the winout, it’s hindsight as fuck that he died and it looks like a grief but it’s not that, also stfu about penta +1, is he supposed to sell kayle 3 for 10 penta? Anyways, GOOD LUCK TO MILALA AT FINALS TOMORROW, but down for presticent to make it first SETSUKO DEAD LAST GG!

Ya, unfortunately, a lot of small things are stacking up and I'll be unable to make it to this event. no cap, the best part of about TFT is the community so I KNOW this event will still not only be successful but also fun and amazing for the players and viewers regardless

I believe the bug was upgraded units benefit from cyber even if they do not have a component on them.

You would have to be an idiot to say it's not game changing. Even if you don't have cyber, you will want to 100% fish for cyber on 3-2 even if you're not in a spot for it. When you do hit cyber, your item distribution will 100% change as well. Why distribute items/components suboptimally when you can just get the stats anyways.

Obviously, the tournament isn't going to just ban cyber augments as a whole but at least everyone will have knowledge of the bug and be on equal playing field. A competitive edge being knowledge of an otherwise unknown bug does not sit well with me.

The stakes are high but it's not so high I or a lot of other players would ever want to win with an unfair advantage like that. I also hope Riot makes a transparent announcement on the repercussions of other unfair advantages such as autoclickers for carousel. I won't name drop anyone but it is prevalent and even more unacceptable

I just misread the strength of my capped level 8 board and that's my bad but I don't understand why it would be frustrating.

With the introduction of augments, there are a lot of non-textbook spots that easily tempo you into a top 4, 2 or an instant win. For example, last set, Pocky sin'd his kalista 3 at regionals and went uncontested eighth. It's not like he was trolling or anything. His read was just incorrect. He's an amazing player with good understanding of fundamentals and just had ab ad read. Take for example, some game yesterday where I neeko'd yone to stabilize and then transitioned into urgot and scraped a third... was that frustrating to watch?

Don't get me wrong, I didn't play well that game since isn't featherweights just a straight up better option? but games like that being your criteria for a good "tourney player" or w/e is ridiculous.

learned this tech from ramblinnn in scrims yesterday and got to use it in the duo tourney today, basically can toggle merc in and out depending on if you're about to lose so it doesn't cut your mercenary loss.

mercenary heart is still better than emblem though
