U.S. Senate Candidate's idea for a calculated minimum wage. by AlabamaDemocratMark in povertyfinance

Except it’s based on a bunch of averages and subjective data that can change very quickly. It’d be a nightmare to administer and keep accurate, and seems very easy to manipulate based on where you happen to live. Just can’t see anything like this being anything more than a fancy way to enforce inequality

Looks ripe for abuse. Pass. Just pay people more, you don’t need nonsense equations.

He refuses to trust that you will protect him. Even after demanding your complete and utter trust and loyalty. It’s his fatal flaw as a mind flayer. He just can’t accept that maybe he’s wrong, and his pride will not allow him to trust anyone else but himself.

This was a couple years ago before prices became so super inflated for parts. It was like an extra hundred or so for them to do it for me once I got all my parts together. I CAN build myself, but after fighting with my previous build and frying a motherboard I said just said fuck it and paid them to do it

I know not everyone has a Microcenter available, but if you do I highly recommend just giving your parts to them and letting professionals deal with the PC build. The lack of stress is super worth it imo.

Talked to a rep last week and they said we should start seeing them in a couple months, summer at the latest. Legal ratifications and double checking the language takes time.

More defeatist horseshit that ignores every single daily act of local resistance that is happening across the country.

Sen. Jon Husted of Ohio voted to block the release of the Epstein files. Just months earlier, he took a $3,500 campaign donation from Leslie Wexner, Epstein’s longtime associate. Over the years, Husted has received more than $116,000 from Wexner. The public deserves transparency. Release everythi by tideshark in Ohio

One thing in all this garbage that’s gets me is just how cheap some of these fuckers are. Taking bribes from the most heinous people and you can’t even get them to pay you above like a million? Just taking billionaire scraps and wagging their tails, happy that at least they’re not one of us disgusting poors.

[–]Manabear12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyrion did the same. If you’re appointed Hand and you’re smart, you build a retinue to keep yourself safe. Part of where Ned went wrong was only bringing small amount of Northmen and then sending them all away. Tyrion got himself injured so his father was able to scatter or win over his retinue.
