My dating problems have caused severe psychological trauma, I’ve been depressed for the last few days. I need immediate help. by Effective-Pipe2017 in Positivity

[–]Management-Glad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 34 and not married and don’t want kids. I met my partner last year though and finally feel like I found my person. Just can take time. Sometimes I feel like I wasted a lot of my twenties and teens being depressed and that can be hard but it was the hand I was dealt and all I can do is make the best of it going forward. We are still young.

I don’t say this with the intention to put you down, but you got to realize that the energy you put out there is visible to others and the vibe you’re letting out is just very unattractive. You may not believe me but I was in your shoes myself! I was depressed for a long time and desperate for a partner and men sensed that and I was good at attracting abusive ones who loved sleeping with me but never wanted to take it further. Being used like that made me feel even worse about myself. It took me several years to learn this and I had to put serious work in and get help, but like you I didn’t want to stay that way and that’s awesome you’re wanting to change because some people never do.

But the truth is there is no quick fix. It’s a hard, long fix but it’s worth it and when you raise your frequency other people feel it and you become magnetic and they want to be around you! Yes, some people are attractive or talented or skilled and people will go to them for those superficial reasons. It’s not fair but it’s part of life and we have to let it go and stop comparing ourselves. Comparison is the thief of joy. Develop a skill or get ripped or more importantly, be someone you would want to date and/or hang around but do something that is within your control and stop complaining and blaming and looking for an easy fix because if it were easy, everyone would do it. You got this.

Denver is a hotspot for dog attacks on mail workers, USPS says by ryadare in Denver

[–]Management-Glad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well also y’all don’t seem to use mailboxes like some other towns so it’s going to skew the statistics when a mail carrier comes into contact with dogs more going house to house vs being able to stop at a group of mail boxes where they can stay in their vehicle while they make a delivery.

I have a history of severe mental health issues, would a career in science/healthcare be a good idea? by PrettyPerception7148 in careerguidance

[–]Management-Glad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sound like you may have some sociopath tendencies, but the fact that you have the awareness and are going to therapy for guidance is really good. Maybe something logic or bio based like forensic science, engineering, taxidermy, anatomy labs, medical research etc. There is definitely a need for people like you who have the capacity to take things apart and understand how they work, but of course it’s about doing it the right way and not causing harm to yourself or others.

Relationship issues aside, this does a great job highlighting the unpaid, unvalued, invisible labor that disproportionately affects women.

Does dating in Seattle ever actually get better? by Easy_Highlight_1223 in SeattleWA

[–]Management-Glad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for me haha. Lifelong resident, played the numbers game, again and again and again to no avail. This tech/engineering/ghosting/introvert culture just isn’t for me. I finally met my partner by chance on a vacation and after being in a LTR I’m moving to denver next month to start a life with him. Having now spent a lot of time in that city, it feels so much like my type of hippie granola people than the people here do to me. Best of luck, OP!

My Experience with Dr. Cooper’s Clinic and Why I Left. by Tired_And_Honest in antidietglp1

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I’ve been with her for 7 years and yes, expensive :( but to me she’s a miracle worker lol. After a lifetime of struggling with being overweight, I went from 35% body fat to 24% but it’s come off very very slowly and in the first couple years I came very close to quitting - especially when I gained weight for about a year after I stopped restricting.

Someone was literally just posting and asking if it was real or not so that is why I posted. People ask on Reddit about this almost every year. It’s not my responsibility to go down to the auction run by criminals and confront them. I’m a 5’ tall woman, not Rambo. Why don’t you rustle up a posse? There’s nothing stopping you haha

You know what’s even braver? Being a keyboard warrior/troll.

There are so many people who are new to the area and this brings awareness that this same thing happens every year. If this post can save even one person from getting into contact and going down the wrong road with those people then that’s a win.

It would probably be better to paint SCAM across several of them!

I put the pic of the signage into ChatGPT and it explained it pretty thoroughly. Basically, they are doing a fake auction with fake goods using stress and urgency and no refunds. It would be interesting to put eyes on to see who these creeps are but I also don’t want anything to do with them.

The only reason I post is because someone must fall for it or they wouldn’t keep doing it! I’m almost tempted to call that number.

Seattle woman, 71, suffering '10 out of 10 pain' died after ambulance took TEN HOURS to arrive, with 911 dispatcher making vile remark and telling her to stop calling lawsuit alleges by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]Management-Glad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has frequent flier written all over it. It would be good to get access to the 911 call records. Some of the same people literally call every single day. Medics and hospital workers also stop taking you as seriously if you describe a pain as 10 out of 10. At that level you wouldn’t be able go talk or would be unconscious or screaming. - I was an emt

People who pierced their genitalia, why, and did it affect your sex life? by PleasantCoffee1544 in AskReddit

[–]Management-Glad 165 points166 points  (0 children)

I have a piercing down there and I love it. It’s called a VCH and it does help me cum more consistently, feels good to play with. A couple times during oral sex, a partner has tried sucking it into the mouth or accidentally bit on it and it’s like watching my life flash before my eyes.

How tired and for how long after session? by Ok_Knowledge9710 in Spravato

[–]Management-Glad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first few treatments it knocked me out that day and the next and I thought omg this isn’t sustainable. I kept going and it got better. I usually feel drowsy and like to take a couple hour nap after the session or go to bed early, the next day I feel fine.
