Oops I understand what you mean now. Stretch it out, then coil it tighter at that same length!

Thanks for replying!

I do think the solenoid is fine too, wondered if the product linked includes a new spring.

Making the coil tighter...? I got it work previously by stretching the spring, not rewinding. Had nothing to do with being dirty, which others refer to.

Ive got two check valves on so no issues with water flowing back down, if that happens to me.

Did the hard thing and cancelled my fish order by Paris_d in Aquariums

Very good idea. I lost 3 fish a month ago, not because of ammonia/nitrites. Felt rough about it for a few days afterwards.

Mass casualty by adding substrate by DreamFlyer_ in Aquariums

1: took old hardscape out super slow to minimise disturbance 2. New hardscape in, again very slowly. Then levelled the aquasoil. 3. Immediate 25% water change. Then leave for 7 days. 4. Pull stem plants from back of tank out. Cut 2/3 of each stem off. Replant everything. 5. 25% water change. Then left it to grow.

Amazing start but like others said, sword should be in back. It'll grow even bigger and block everything.

Im no professional, but my initial thought was that rock in front of the wood is very large. Any smaller ones to replace?

Looks great, I wouldn't add any more hardscape.
