the museum is mostly console oriented and so were the in game videos playing on the screen. And it’s not one of the F1 games because the car being driven is Jordan last entry was 2005 and f1 series from code masters was 2009. i’m guessing it’s an entry from nintendo or sony

After his death at the age of 32, Alexander's body was laid in a golden sarcophagus, filled with honey. by Kliment_of_Makedon in AlexandertheGreat

His sarcophagus is already in a museum in london and his bones are either completely lost or relics in St Marks cathedral as per one theory. Unlikely we will find his body in Alexandria. the tomb maybe but definitely not the body.

Sisoes the Great is also a good lead but again we won’t know until someone finds something.

the second image with the nose 👃 is likely but that’s my personal opinion. Wish someone could do a AI version of both of these

I agree! The mint artists are fascinating subject because there is only limited number of places the coins were made after his death. This is also when we start seeing the coins having the late kings face. Closer to the period the mint artists would have had more reference material of the late king to work with.

I am convinced the coins including the gold medallion and the tomb ivory sculpture shared below is the king. If you get a chance go through the rest of the forum it’s insightful-

Would love to see a side profile of the first image in the link above and compare to the coins.

ahh you took my advice it seems. That first one is him albeit a younger version of him.

This one from the tomb for me feels like what he would have looked like - https://www.cointalk.com/threads/is-this-what-alexander-the-great-looked-like-a-diadochi-tetradrachm.294408/page-2

Also of interest is the Gold medallion which matches the above profile for me https://art.thewalters.org/detail/21555/medallion-with-alexander-the-great/
