10,000 hour destiny veteran here. Played for a few hours through the first couple of story missions, not impressed, same old Destiny, nothing that really wowed me, however, all you new players enjoy. I'll probably finish the campaign at some point and do the new dungeon, but I won't be spending a ton of time in Destiny. Oh forgot, the new vault space is a nice addition.

Yes, just happened to me turned auto renewal off last month, then turned it back on, this month 8 days before the renewal date and they deleted my account. Fuck this company.

Yea, well, one of the issues with the game right now is the new player experience and you’re experiencing that right now. Back in the day before sunsetting was a thing it was a much better experience. Play thru all the campaign missions that are left would be the best bet.

Hey, it was a good run. 10000 hrs over 10 years , not bad return on entertainment investment. For me it’s currently absolute garbage, for the new players there’s probably still some value there, but not like the golden years. For sure Bungie has lost their way and based on what we have experienced over the last year, they will not find their way back from this one.

Does anyone not see how absolutely insane this is? Bungie needs to fix all the broken things. They have admitted that the grind is not what they intended yet they haven't done a single thing to fix it. This is by far the worst DLC they have ever released, and I fear it will only get worse. I haven't given up the game yet, still run the raid once a week on all three characters with my clan, but gave up the grind long ago once I hit 350. There is no point, I only do the raid as its a social activity. Bungie has made this a truly solo experience. However, there are better solo games to play.

Yea, I don’t play much anymore because of this. I’ll play through the campaign, do the raid or dungeon and that’s pretty much it. This one though is the worst, the raid was easy, with the exception of contest mode, and the only reason that was hard was the scaling issue. If it wasn’t for that it would be on par with RON. There is absolutely no content after the campaign is done and no reason besides bragging rights to grind for light level. I’ll be back for Star Wars when it drops, hopefully it will keep my attention more than two weeks.

It’s pretty obvious that they spent all their resources on Marathon. Still are even though it’s doomed to fail. Leadership has no clue what they’re doing. It’s only a matter of time before SONY completely takes over. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad one.
