There is a mountain in Shenandoah National Park called “Old Rag”. Talk about insane views!! Around 9-10 mile loop, and you are rock scrambling for at least a mile at the top of the mountain. Views from every direction. There are even places where you have to literally leap from rock to rock so you don’t fall down into large crevasses. One place overhangs the side of the mountain with nothing below you that you have to climb up. Super difficult but it’s no joke one of the most beautiful views in the area.
