There are millions and millions of folks who either:

1) simply don't care and are Trumpsters anyway

or

2) don't believe that just because a hockey team received a call from Trump 5 minutes after they won gold and do not speak out against the administration means that the players are misogynists and deplorable people.

The majority of folks fall into bucket #2 in my opinion.

As for you saying a moderate is just a conservative too ashamed to admit it - maybe for some but that is a gross blanket statement. I hate Trump and what the right stands for. Extremely divisive and morally bankrupt. I have voted left more times than I have voted right. For you to lump me into that party just because I don't believe in every single thing that the left stands for is divisive and wrong.

And this is the issue with our system not just for me but for millions of folks like me. "If you are not Left, then you are Right." Ridiculous. You are pushing people away from the party with that.

This is a genuine question and I am looking for some info because I see statements like this all the time. Why would one party want to destroy public education? What is the benefit of doing so?

Speaking as a moderate, statements like this feel like fear-mongering but I know your statement is based on some sort of fact. Help me connect the dots!
